Chapter 1

AREUM

"Bye eomma" I waved goodbye to my eomma and left the house.

As I got to school every pair of eyes laid on me. Girls either looked at me in awe or in disgust. Boys just eyed me up and down.

Yep, this is me.

Everyone appreciate's my looks, but never my thoughts. I'm lucky enough that one of my friends are studying here.

"Areum!!"

"Jiyeon!" Right on time.

Jiyeon suddenly tackled me and gave me a bear crushing hug. "Ji-Jiyeon! A-Air!" I gasped. Jiyeon let go of me and I finally got to breathe properly.

"Mian, Mian! I just miss you so much and I finally get to see you again!!" She said happily. This kid never runs out of energy, I swear.

I laughed at how excited she is. "You still look as beautiful as last time, I gotta say, you actually look more beautiful" Jiyeon said in awe.

"Shush" I said and pinched her cheek. She asked what my class is, I responded with Class 1 - A.

"Great!! That's my class too!" Jiyeon said and started to smile widely. Jiyeon is such a child, I love her.

The bell rang meaning it was time for class. "Oh no, We're gonna be late.." I murmured. Jiyeon held my wrist and we started to run.

"H-Hey! Easy!"

"Ms. Park you're late!" When we got to our classroom, we were welcomed with a strict looking teacher. "M-Mian-"

"And who's this?" He asked eyeing me up and down, I felt uncomfortable because of the way he eyed me.

"Ah! This is Areum Yang, the new student" Jiyeon introduced me. "Annyeonghaseo" I bowed to show respect.

The class started to whisper.

"She looks beautiful!"

"Ugh, her name doesn't fit her face."

"I'll bet her on you bro!!"

I almost rolled my eyes on what they said. 5 seconds in class and I already hate it.

"Hmm.. Okay, I'll let you slide today Ms. Yang. But you Ms. Park will have to get detention" Jiyeon groaned. The teacher told us to sit.

I sat next to the window and Jiyeon.

I sat down and forced myself to listen.

SUGA

"Hey hyung.." I felt Hoseok tap me on the shoulder. "Mwo??" I asked in annoyance. "You see that new girl? She looks beautiful"

I looked over and saw a new face. My eyes widen a bit as it landed on her.

Baby face..

Beautiful eyes..

Long hair..

Stop! This is not you! She'll just be another one of those worthless girls.

"What about her?" I asked, trying to brush the thought of her. "Nothing, nothing. She seems nice." Hoseok smiled.

I looked at him as if I was about to kill him. He put his hands up, "Mian, mian. Why are you mad? Are you-"

"I'm not jealous. Why would I be anyway?" I scoffed and slumped on the chair with my arms crossed.

My eyes drifted to her and I saw her trying to listen to the teacher and she was next to Jiyeon.

Jiyeon is actually a fun girl. I'm just happy that she's not one of those girls who chases me.

"You're looking at her." Hoseok, or Jhope, snapped his fngers quietly in front of me. "I wasn't." I denied.

Maybe I was..

Ugh God Suga stop this now. Even if you fall for her, she'll never love you back. No one understands.
