CHAPTER EIGHT ! You excited ? I am ;)

TESSA'S POV:
My head gazed at the crumpled and small piece of paper held gently in my hand.
I was scared to open it.
I looked up for a second to see drew and zoe arguing.
Gosh, they've been together for like all of three days and there already tearing each others hair out by the looks of it.
'Stop worrying about him tess ! Hes not worth it and you will never have a chance with him, ever and you know it!'
I glanced away before anyone including them spotted me staring.
I looked back at the untouched peice of paper in my hand.
I start to open it, slowly one fold at a time opening it.
The first thing i seem to spot is a question mark.
'Meet me behind the PE buildings at lunch? -kai'
Knowing kai's reputation of sleeping with every girl he could get.
Which he could get anyone pretty much, he was very attractive and i never even noticed it.
I was reluctant to go but i showed the letter to the girls and they re assure me.
"He is one of the hottest guys in our school!" summer says with an awed face.
"Your crazy not to go babe" calls laura after summers comment.
"alright, alright i'll go!" i finally agreed.
"But i need you to girls to be a few meters away incase he tries to pull anything cause i dont think i could handle that by meself!"
I took a deep breath after finishing that sentence.
They nod and agree with what i have just said.
"Why would he invite you to somewhere private and not me?" Summer says jokingly.
We all laugh, she always makes me laugh.
Later that day:
I gripped the books that wouldn't fit into my bag and held them in my hands.
As i walked closer i gripped tighter and tighter.
I looked down towards my knuckles and they seemed to turn a yellowish colour.
I let my grip go and as i look up i crash into a muscular figure.
The figure does not move one inch but instead rebounds my body of his and i fall to the ground.
Im clumsy i know, dont need to tell me that twice.
He kneels and our eyes are level, they peirce into mine and i examine his light shade of blue eyes.
Thats a really pretty eye colour.
This face is a farmiliar face. now where have i seen it before?
How could i not recognise them eyes! Drew. nit now drew im trying to avoid you!
He speaks and his words snap me out of my train of thoughts.
"Are you ok?" he says offering a helping hand to stand me back up.
I gather my books i was clutching ever so tightly and decline his offer, standing up on my own.
"I didnt mean for you to fall" he speaks again this time his voice gentle and ever so husky.
"You should really watch where your going Tessa!" Zoe says from behind his figure, emphasising my name for some strange reason.
"Sorry" I say looking at the ground pretending i didnt hear a single word come from Zoe's mouth.
"Its ok, hey iv been looking for you we havent spoken in a wh-" i cut him off.
"Im really sorry but im kinda in a rush, bye."
Well that was rude tess, nicee work idiot!
I walk around his tall, muscular figure pacing towards the PE building.
I feel his eyes piercing through the back of my head.
I walk around a corner to find kai.
"Hey" he says calmly with a smirk on his face. I think it made me blush a little.
He doesnt like you tess, gosh whats wrong with you ? Huh ?
"Hi" i reply not really knowing what to say in return.
"Whats this all about? why did you invite me behind here?" i ask my eyebrows furrowed in confussion.
"I need to tell you something, something that iv been meaning to tell you since grade 5" he said his eyes glued to mine.
"And why are you telling me now?" I reply still confused and nervous as to what he might say next.
"Because i havent had the balls to" he said looking away from my eyes and to the ground between us.
He opened his mouth to say something and then closed it again like he really didnt want to say it.
Waiting for his reply, i looked back the day he moved to my primary school. He knew no one, so i let him sit with our group.
We were close back then, close enough to call him a friend.
Then one day a biy asked him to go hang out with them and he never came back, ever. Never spoke to me, nothing.
The most he did was wave or smile occasionally.
I focused back on the the current situation im in at this very moment.
He had taken a step closer as i was in my little flashback moment.
Looking back up from the ground his eyes so gentle locked with mine, and he said the words.
"I think i'v liked you ever since the day we first met."

Anyways this chapter was easy to write
1 hour approx
The next chapter wont be updated anytime soon as im going away after christmas and probably wont have any internet.
The new year though ;) a new chapter will be coming your way.
