Tessa’s POV:
I woke up with my head pounding and an unfamiliar buzzing noise in the far distance.
A lawnmower? No it can’t be a lawnmower, my parents don’t take care of our garden.
I slowly opened my eyes and sat up slowly. Where am I?
I tried to figure out where I was but I couldn’t, this was somewhere I have never been before, like ever.
A crystal chandelier hung from the celling about five meters from the bed. It was beautiful.
I swung my legs and let them hang off the bed, which was massive!
Where was I and what was I doing here?
I heard a voice wasn’t familiar to me, a lady with a British/English accent.
Her heels clicked on the wooden floorboards up the hallway and they were getting louder and closer.
She had seemed to stop in front of the door to the room I happened to be in.
By that time I was hidden behind a dresser placed at the end of the bed.
She opened the door and stepped in, stopping after taking three steps into the room.
She called out to her son “DREW!” and then I heard a faint reply which meant drew was far away from the room at this point.
Wait did she just say drew!
Why am I here, in a random house, which I don’t know who owns by the way. And why the heck is drew here?
“What mu… where’s Tess?” drew said as he entered the room.
“I don’t know drew, you tell me!”
“I was letting her rest she got hurt mum like really hurt.”
“Alright just look for her, she could be anywhere by now.”
“Yes ok mum” and with that his mother left the room her heels again clanking against the hard wood floors.
“Tess?” I heard drew whisper once…. “Tess?” his voice sounding a little louder than the first time.
I stood up abruptly and looked at drew who stared at me with widened eyes.
“Hi,” I said interrupting our staring match. “Umm why am I here?”
“Oh right well…. Urhm...aha… you… don’t you remember?”
“Nah I don’t, that’s why I asked you.” I said.
“Oh right” he asked again stuttering, what was wrong with him?
“Well, we were gonna ditch last period and you went and waited for me while I got my books and I came back and you were on the floor crying, then we drove here cause I didn’t know where else to go.”
“Wait, I was crying?” I replied shocked
“Yep, you were shaking too.”
“But I never cry?” still asking confused.
“Well it must have been pretty bad for you to cry.”
“It must have.” I suddenly my head started to hurt and I squinted my eyes in pain.
