TESSA'S POV:

Boys, boys galore! I should really come here more often.

Spotting Drew near the lifting thingy’s, you could obviously tell I don't do exercise, I walked over slowly not wanting to startle him.

"Hey" I said softly. He must not have heard me because he didn't answer nor turn around.

"Hey" I said again a little louder than the first.

He stood and turned to face me with a weight in one hand and in the other, some sort of protein shake.

"What are you doing here?” he said with a stern and serious voice.

"I just wanted to see if you were ok, I saw the fight. It seemed pretty bad."

"Its fine, she was a mistake anyways I went out with her just to try to..." he stopped mid sentence.

I waved my hands in the air in front of me telling him to continue with what he was going to say. "Well?"

"Don't worry about it its not important." he said as he looked down.

"Its important if I care about you." I can’t believe I just said that! That's so embarrassing.

"You, care about me?" he said lifting a weight.

"Yeah." I said slightly blushing.

I must have made it really awkward because we stood in silence, I stared into his light blue orbs he calls eyes. He had the prettiest eyes.

He broke the awkward silence by putting down the weight he was lifting; he then turned and walked towards the door.

Just when I thought he walked away without saying anything.

"Bye Tess." he yelled while waving his free hand over his shoulder.

I couldn't help but smile at his very muscular back prance out of the room like he owned the place.

"Bye Drew" I said almost whispering.

DREW'S POV:

Ok so, Tess did not just say she cares about me, did she?

We met at the start of this term and we barely talked besides when I first started and we sat next to each other on the bus.

Now that I think about it, I still have no idea why she got mad at me.

It was just one day she stopped talking to me completely.

By the time I finished my workout in the gym, the crowd that had been there half an hour ago had disappeared.

Zoe had vanished with her poesy probably crying her eyes out.

It was her own fault, serves her right for being so mean to everyone.

Walking around the almost empty oval kicking a few stray rocks that I passed.

I had math’s next, worst subject with the worst teacher.

I’m sure skipping a math class wouldn’t hurt, would it?

Over thinking my decision I went to my locker, turned the nob to the correct numbers.

The lock opened with a click then I heard footsteps coming down the hallway to the left. Oh crap.

I’m supposed to be in class, if I got caught even ditching mum would not be happy.
