Within Silence
In the begining
or so we have all heard
there became a universe
a universe of stars and planets and solar systems and life
that's where she became
The universe never speaks
it never so much even whispers
a dormant jugernaught at the edge of our imagination
Life is born of this silence
life dwells within it
Noise only translates into vibration
vibration only translates into friction
and friction defines life
It should never be so easy
Within her is a planet
a galaxy
a solar system
a universe
churning in circles and following predistined compass headings
waxing and waning within a dark womb
those are the voices of her unborn children
Can you hear them
making change
creating the future
designing the present
debating the past
She may never even quiet long enough to hear them
but it is all there
captured
within silence...
