Training...

"This is useless." I said tiredly. We had been practicing all day and I still couldn't control my power.

"Maybe if you would actually try instead of whining about it, it would work." Kate said obviously annoyed with me.

"Why don't you let me try it my way." Jacob said walking over to us. I noticed that he wasn't alone he was with Quill's grandfather. Kate walked away  leaving the three of us alone.

"I've heard you had some trouble controlling your gift?" Quill's grandfather said.

"Yes, it seems like every time I use it, I lose all control."

"Well, that is something only the most powerful women went through. But do not worry, I can help."

"How?" I asked confused. He came over to me and handed me a necklace.

"This is a necklace passed down generation to generation, it help control your emotions and powers."

"My emotions?"

"Your emotions are what drive your power, in this case fear and anger. With the necklace you can use your power at any time. Well my job is done I should get going."

"Thank you for everything." I go over and give him a hug. Seth walks over from inside and takes him home.

"Ok, let's give this another try." Before I could do anything she started running towards Jacob. I focused on her and
she flew back against a tree making the tree break and fall to the ground. I went over to Jacob and he pulled me into
him holding me tight.

"Are you ok?" I asked worried.

"I'm fine she didn't even touch me, it's her you should worry about." He said with a chuckle.

"She deserved it, she shouldn't have tried to hurt you. But fine, I'll check up on her." I started walking towards Kate
and could hear her bones cracking into place. I focused all my energy on her and in less than a second she stood up.

"I didn't hurt you too bad did I?" I asked suddenly feeling guilty.

"I knew you had power but, wow."

"Thanks." I said starting to think that maybe we could beat the Volturi.

"I want to try something."

"What is it?"

"I want to see just how many people you could go against."

"I don't know I mean I don't want to hurt anyone."

"They'll be fine." She said reassuring me.

"Then I'm up for it, if they are."

"Guys, we need you, all of you." Kate said in a normal voice knowing they could hear her. Everyone came outside and

Jacob stood next to me along with Kate. He put his arm around my waist giving it a squeeze instantly making me feel
better.

"Ok, we need all of you to stand in front of Avery and when I give you a sign, attack." Before I could say anything they were running toward me in full speed. I held my arms up in defense and when I noticed nothing was happening, I slowly lowered my arms and turned my head to look at them. They couldn't move it was like they were frozen.

"Guys?" I asked wondering if they were really frozen.

"You know it'd be nice if you let us move again." Emmet yelled still in his frozen form.

"ok." I let everyone go but kept Emmet frozen just to annoy him.

"HAHAHA, very funny, now let me go." He said sarcastically and a bit annoyed.  Everyone let out a laugh and made
comments to just annoy him even more.

"Fine ,I think we've annoyed you enough." I let him go and he was about to run up to me and get revenge when I froze
him again.

"Emmet, just let it go." I said unfreezing him again.

"You know, your shirt is tempting me right now." He said with a chuckle.

"Maybe it wasn't the best choice with a house full of vampires." I said giggling.

"You think." Jacob said smiling.

"Get some sleep, we start practicing again tomorrow morning." Kate yelled from standing by the entrance of the house. I noticed that it was already getting dark.

"Let's go." Jacob said taking my hand. When we were out of sight he pulled me close and kissed me. instinctively I put my arms around this neck and kissed back, after a few seconds we pulled back out of breath.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"I've been wanting to do that all day, do you have any idea how beautiful you are." He said looking into my eyes. I felt like I could just melt right then and there.

"You're so cheesy, but I love you anyway." 

"I love you too." He said before swinging me onto his shoulder and walking towards the car.

"Jake, let me go."

"Tell me how awesome I am." 

"No."

"Fine." After that he started running.

"Ok, ok you're the awesomest person on the planet!!! Now let me go !!!"

"Aw, you really think so." He said putting me down.

"No, I don't." I said and started running towards the car. Luckily for me it wasn't too far away and I was able to get in without him catching up to me. Not even a second passed by and he was in the car. Both of us laughing our butts off.

"How did I get so lucky, to have you as my girlfriend?" He said getting serious.

"How did I get so lucky, to have you as my boyfriend?"
