You don't know my kind.

Because of what happened earlier, Oikawa decided to take a walk to perk himself up. He didn't want to show up being upset over some kid probably not wanting to be his friend. Not that he was upset. At least he would never admit to it. It was too childish of him.

After mindlessly wandering about, he decided to go ahead and make his way to the bar. Better early than late. That's the motto he lived by, not the "Better late than never" one. It was the one he tried to live by. He was always almost late. He wasn't going to kid himself.

He arrived and was let in. It was earlier than their meeting time but he didn't know what else to do. Besides, no matter how early, people weren't going to not be there to get to drinking. He noted that there were others there besides himself. Some normal and just chatting. The occasional loner in the corner that would probably still be there til the bar closes. Bartenders, bouncers, manager etc etc. The girls were plentiful in early business hours as well. Height, different skin tones and hair colors and eyes, ages, weights, curvy and well rounded, flat. You name it, they were there.

Time passed and passed as he watched as more people slowly trickled in and the night life unfolded before his eyes. He drank and observed.

Iwaizumi ran a hand through his spiky hair, groaning. They were all dressed and ready to go but Sugawara stopped the both of them to formulate a plan. He was done with plans. He was ready to jump into action and do something. Anything. If the guy, 'Nao,' brought along Oikawa, the job would be so much easier for them and they could leave and then he would be able to think about his life and get his shit together. The thought of leaving the company went through his head the past hour. But would he ever truly be able to leave this life behind and not have anything to do with it anymore? This wasn't just about some unrequited love on a good friend and co-worker. It was everything. He was tiring and his mind deteriorated in his skull. He wondered if every thing he had gone through to end up where he was now, was worth it.

"Alright, so if, and I mean if, one of those guys is the infamous Oikawa, don't just spring into it without thinking." Sugawara's eyes traveled over to his longtime companion and partner, knowing that he could be hotheaded at times. Daichi, he knew, was a man of instinct but he didn't solely rely on that. "This is what we do, Nao said that there were two others. I get the guy feeling that Nao is a lightweight, no offense to him but I just know it. Keep the drinks coming. That's your job Iwaizumi-"

"But I-"

"No buts. I don't even have to tell you why."

"He's fucking new to this, you can't just throw him into it. He needs to be trained. He's a roo-"

Sugawara kept cutting Iwaizumi off, fully aware that Iwaizumi was growing frustrated and angered. Which is why he didn't need him handling Oikawa. "He's a rookie. I'm aware. You don't think I hate the fact that I'm throwing someone my wife holds dear and told me to protect smack dab in the middle of something he has no business being in?" Sugawara calmly spoke and he glanced at Daichi.

Daichi opened his mouth to ask a question but he closed it. Deciding that now was not the time for a hidden confession.

Is it just for my sister? Do you not care for me?
