Chapter 1

"Donghyuck get up its already 8 a.m." Chenle yells.

"How did you get into my room?" Donghyuck asks while getting up and rubbing his puffy eyes.

Chenle just chuckles.

"What?" Donghyuck questions finally being able to open his puffy eyes fully, well one of them at least.

"Are you serious right now Donghyuck? I'm your best friend how else do you think I got in here?"

Donghyuck just shrugs and gets up off his bed deciding to give up. He needed to get ready for school so he had no choice but to get up now anyway.

Donghyuck was finally done washing up and brushing his teeth and began to pick out his outfit. He wore a red flannel with black stripes that was unbuttoned showing his plain black tee underneath, with a pair of dark blue skinny jeans that had rips on them. He then threw on his black high top converses that he pretty much threw on everyday although, he has other pair of sneakers. His black converses just happen to be his favorite.

"Finally you are ready Hyuckie, I've been waiting boredly for you to be finished." Chenle complains.

"Boredly? Couldn't you have just texted Renjun or something?"

"I could've but he's not a morning person he might ignore my text."

"Well, you couldn't of been that bored I didn't take that long." Donghyuck shrugs.

Chenle just sighed letting his best friend slide on this one.

"So are you ready to go?"

Why yes father, I'm ready just let me grab my book bag and an apple and we can go for sure."

"Hey, I'm not your father okay? I'm way to young and good looking." Chenle says dramatically flipping his short hair.

Donghyuck just laughs, while they both head downstairs.

"Hey fuckers." Jeno says to his group of friends sitting in the cafeteria.

"That's not a way to greet your boyfriend." Jaemin pouts.

"I know, but I wasn't greeting you yet baby I was greeting these fuckers now I'm greeting you, hey my princess." Jeno says pecking Jaemin on the lips.

"Hey get a room." Jisung says.

"Oh please Jisung, don't hate because you have no one to kiss." Jeno says teasing his friend, then once again going back to eating Jaemin's face.

Jisung then pouted.

"It's okay, you're not the only one." Donghyuck says rubbing Jisung's shoulder making Jisung smile and his cheeks go red.

Jisung prayed that it went unnoticed by Donghyuck, in which it did.

"Donghyuck shut up you're only single for now, don't you like that Mark boy?" Renjun asks.

Donghyuck then blushes.

"Yes, but that doesn't mean we are ever going to date Renjun."

Renjun just suppresses a laugh.

"Do you see the way he steals glances from you in math class? He definitely likes you back." Renjun says stuffing his face with his tuna sandwich.

"I actually have to agree on that one, Mark does steal glances from you it's to cute. I always have to hold my squeal in." Chenle says.

"Oh please Chenle it's not even that serious, why must you over exaggerate?" Donghyuck huffs.

"I'm not over exaggerating at all, it's cute okay?"

Donghyuck just rolls his eyes.

"But do you think he really likes me?" Donghyuck asks.

Renjun nods.

"Of course."

Renjun's response left Donghyuck blushing even though he wasn't sure if Mark actually liked him.

Jisung then pouts, he knew Donghyuck liked Mark since freshman year and they were now sophomores but it just hurted him to see Donghyuck getting flustered over someone that wasn't him. He just wished that Donghyuck would feel the same way that he feels for him but that was just wishing for too much, way too much.

"Hey Donghyuck." Mark greets.

Donghyuck then blushes and his heart races.

"H-hi Mark." He greets back.

"So I didn't see you in math class today, how come?"

Donghyuck was getting butterflies in his stomach and he felt as if he was about to have a heart attack trying to remain calm in front of his ultimate crush. They spoke before but he couldn't help but to feel this way every time. The only time Mark really over spoke to him was just as simple as greetings or asking for help or what he missed when he was absent nothing more then that. They never really spoke out of class either and today Mark was asking him why he didn't go to math class. It made Donghyuck want to scream, in a good way though.

"O-oh um I came late today because I woke up late." Donghyuck smiles.

"Oh well try waking up earlier I missed you today." Mark said.

Donghyuck could feel his heart racing and cheeks burning.

"Y-yea I will." He says.

Mark nods.

"Bye now Donghyuck, will I see you around?"

"B-bye Mark and yea you will." Donghyuck once again stutters wanting to slap himself right now because of that.

"And you said he doesn't like you." Chenle whispers into Donghyuck's ears, earning a slap right on his arm.

"Ouch what was that for?"

"For being annoying." Donghyuck says covering his red face and walking away fastly.

Leaving Chenle alone smiling, he knew his best friend was just flustered and that was all. He found it adorable that he had the biggest crush on Mark, and he knew someday the both of them will claim each other.
