Donghyuck sat alone in the school library, he was honestly embarrassed to show his face. So he's decided to skip lunch and just stay at the library for some alone time. He was still very hurt and emotionally ruined and still has yet to approach Mark. Mark hasn't approached him either since that evening in the cafe. He just kept wondering how the hell will he and Mark present their project if they weren't talking? He was trying to figure out how to approach him but he just has yet to find the right words to say. He doesn't want Mark to know how hurt he was, he doesn't want any pity not that Mark would even pity him, he thought to himself.
Donghyuck was in a pretzeled position on the carpet in the corner of the library with an open book in his hands that he wasn't really even reading. He was just to deep in his thoughts to even read, he was still looking at the page though so it made it look like he was actually reading something.
"Mind if I join you?"
Donghyuck looks up to see the cute WinWin standing there waiting patiently for an answer.
Donghyuck nods.
WinWin plops himself right next to Donghyuck.
"So." He whispered.
"So?"
"You like Mark don't you?"
Donghyuck's face fell, how the hell did he know that? He thought. But just WinWin bringing up that name just made Donghyuck realize that Mark doesn't like him. He wants to cry, again. For like the 80th time, you couldn't blame him though he was an emotional person. A lot of things can trigger his tears quickly and this just really triggered it faster than anything else.
"H-how'd you know?"
"It's pretty obvious and he likes you too. But it looks like you two are both so dense that you guys are not realizing it."
"D-did Chenle send you here or something? Cause that sounds like something he'd say. Heck, I think he already told me something like that."
WinWin chuckles.
"No, I'm here because I was going to read but I seen you here so I came to you. No one sent me at all."
"O-oh, but Mark doesn't even like me." Donghyuck's heart sinks into his stomach.
"But he does, so you want to know the real reason I didn't meet with you at the garden a few days ago?"
Donghyuck nodded.
"Because Mark told me that you were his and that I couldn't go."
Donghyuck smirked, he felt a bit better hearing that but if Mark liked him than why did he not want it to be a date? Was he missing something? Donghyuck was confused.
"I heard that you think he's beautiful too."
Donghyuck's cheeks turn a light shade of pink.
"H-hey who told you that?"
"He did."
"Oh really? Well he told me I'm beautiful first. Which is why I said it back but I meant it though."
