Flaming Wings

Part 4

Marco watched as his fellow crew mates partied, with Sak on his shoulder.

Normally he would be drinking along with the rest of the crew, not as enthusiasticly as many of them, but he had a small headache that he knew would get worse if he drank.  And if he was near them the others were sure to convince him into having a drink and then more drinks after that one.  For this reason Marco hung back.

Marco found Sak in good company anyway.  The little bird was soothing to have around, since it was normally quiet. 

However it turned out that this was not going to be the usual.  Sak was squirming around and trying to jump off Marco's shoulder.

"Sak-yoi. What do you want?". Marco asked while placing the bird on deck so it could go where it wanted.

Marco followed behind as Sak jumped towards a door leading to Ace's room.  He must be looking for Ace Marco thought feeling a bit dejected.  "Sak he's not there-yoi".

The bird did not stop it's persuit at Marco's words and threw its fluffy body at the door.  As it repeated the action it left a small black smudge.

After a minute Marco got worried it would hurt itself if it continued and opened the door.  "See, he's no-" Sak had disappeared into the room.  "Damn it."

~~10 Minutes Later~~

While Ace and the rest of the crew were drinking themselves silly, Marco had found Sak along with a few other things.

Over the last few months Marco thought he had notice small things disappearing, but was not sure of who it was.  Thatch and Ace were at the top of his list, but they were far from being the only ones.

Some of his vests, underwear, shoes,reading glasses, and dignity had been taken.  He had only gotten them back slowly through getting pranked everyday: like when a pair of his underwear was strung up with his name on it.

But after all that time it only took Sak to lead him to all of it.

Marco smirked giving a "thank you" to Sak who had come in to nuzzel an old bandana of his. 
He would be getting revenge very soon.
