Layla I'm currently at home laying down on the couch just watching tv when the door bell rings
"I'LL GET IT!" Alex yells as he runs down the stairs
"Good because I wasn't gonna get up" I laughed as I quietly said that to myself
"Layla! It's the Jacks!" Alex yelled
My eyes widened I shot myself up from the couch looking around to see where I could hide
"Uhh" I whispered I was about to make a run for it to my bedroom but bumped into somebody "Damnit" I said
"Hey there Layla" I heard Gilinsky say I look up hesitantly
"Heyy" I said awkwardly
"Layla I've been worried sick about you!" Johnson said walking up to me and embracing me in a hug but I didn't bother to hug back
"Why have you been ignoring us!?" Johnson said with a little anger
"I-I don't need to explain myself" I said as I let go of Johnson but he quickly grabbed my wrist "Johnson let me go" I said pulling on my wrist
"Layla, you're my little sister! It's my job to make sure you're safe and make sure nobody is bothering you! So please tell me, are our fans bothering you? Is that why you're pushing us away?" He asked looking into my eyes I look over at Gilinsky then at Alex then back at Johnson
I knew what I was about to say will either hurt Johnson's feeling or he won't care considering what I heard the night I went to visit the boys and him two months ago
"I'm sorry but you're not my brother, the only brother I have is Alex," I said with a stern voice
"So can you please leave" I walked over to the door opening it "Thank you for stoping by" I added I looked into his eyes to see pure sadness but that then changed into anger
Johnson stormed out of the house leaving Gilinsky behind
"Why are you so distant all of a sudden Layla?" He asked "Gilinsky," I started "Please leave" I begged
"I'll leave," he started "But answer one question first" he stated I sighed then motioned him to continue as I cross my arms
"Why are you pushing us away all of a sudden?" He asked getting closer to me I roll my eyes then think about why I was pushing them away
My vision begins to blur up as I notice tears starting to build up remembering what the guys had said about me
Flashback I was at Johnson's house for the week just because.
I am currently in the guest bedroom doing nothing which was boring so I decided to go downstairs with all the other guys
As I made my way down the stairs I over heard them talking about someone
"I don't know man-" I heard Johnson say
"I honestly sometimes regret letting her in the chat she's annoying as fuck" I heard Hayes say. Oh?
My heart sunk, they regret meeting me? What did I do wrong? I thought they love me?
"I love her and all but she gets on my nerves sometimes I would never date a, what?, twelve year old" Cameron said. ouch that hurt a little.
I'm sixteen but okay now I know Cameron is just a selfish asshole
"Is it bad that I wish she wasn't related to me? Because now I feel like I have to be in her life since I wasn't in it for 16 years" Johnson said. And that killed me
My lips start to shiver as tears build up in my eyes I put my hands over my mouth to stop me from making any noise
By now I was in tears I quickly walked back to my room before they see or hear me. If I keep hearing I'll probably get even more heart broken.
I know it sounds like I'm overreacting but I'm very sensitive so things get to me easily End of flashback
"Layla-" Gilinsky started but I cut him off
"It's fine Jack, just leave," I cried "Please" I whispered
He looked me in the eyes one more time then left but before he was fully out the door he turned around
"In case you didn't hear that night Matt, Taylor and I defended you so please don't be mad at us" he said then left
I closed the door now fully crying Alex soon came to my side and comforted me
"It's okay, you don't need them you have me" He hugged me

So I haven't updated this book in a while and I'm sorry I'm just debating my decision on disconnecting or not so for now I'll just keep updating
But it might be slow updates
