I returned to my desk, all happy and chirped up. I thought of giving Jake a treat tonight, we haven't had sex in ages. Period. I finished my work by 6 30 PM and dragged Lanie with me to Victoria's Secret. I was in the mood for splurging even though my thoughts were completely opposite in the afternoon.
I told Lanie the entire story and made it up to her by promising an entire day with her for baby shopping. I picked up this red hot lacey bra and panty set.
"Damn you look like a bombshell!" Lanie exclaimed.
"I know." I couldn't believe that I still had chances of looking hot.
I texted Jake saying:
"Surprise tonight baby ;)"
"Waiting already :*" he replied within a fraction of a second.
We never usually baby-ed, honey-ed each other. No cheesy crap. Just Jakey and K and the occasional sweetie, that's all. But the use of "baby" is a sign enough that one of us was horny. Like wanted sex at that moment.
For the first time while paying the bill of the amount way above of how much I could afford I did it happily. I didn't give a shit of how much it costed me. I decided to buy in some vanilla mist also because none of us were in to over the top fruity fragrances.
As I headed up home, lost in my thoughts, I receive a call.
ELIZABETH COLLINS.
My screen read. Damn it, this bitch was born to ruin my life. I picked up, before I could say a word she as usual ordered me as if I were some slave. "Get yourself to Four Seasons rightaway. No excuses." and she cut the call.
Why do I even plan something in my head when I know its not gonna turn up the way I want it to be?! Why?!
Save me from the slaughter lord, I prayed at the back of my mind....
