The night sky is just marvellous, it just has that sense of freedom and beauty that someone would die to find. I feel into what felt like eternity just lying on the soft luxurious grass, staring at the gorgeous night sky. This was of course before I was interrupted by my mother, she shouted out at me to come and have dinner, but to be honest I would rather stay and stare at the beauty of the night sky. After dinner I went up to my room, where I laid in my bed whilst time flew by.
Sadly I was awoken from my deep sleep, by my mother shouting out to me "Jordan, get down here and eat your breakfast otherwise you'll be late for your first day at school." I slowly left the warmth of my bed and headed downstairs for breakfast, as I reached the bottom of the stairs, I could see my mother, father and sister where all sitting at the table munching on breakfast. It was always nice to wake up and see the whole family sitting together and chatting away peacefully. I sat down next to my father, he passed me a plate of toast and a juice, as he passed me my breakfast he asked "Are you looking forward to your new school?" I replied back with "It's just going to be the beginning of a new adventure." As I finished breakfast I had to race up to my room and grab everything I needed for school, as I finished grabbing everything I headed out to the car. Once I got inside the car we headed off, it was a beautiful school from the outside and I am about to find out what it is like on the inside. As we reached the office, we stepped in and where greeted by the school principal his name was Mr Williams, he was a nice person, very enthusiastic. He escorted me off to my first class, it was Maths, where I was introduced to the teacher and the class. I sat right at the back of the classroom, when I was greeted by two students their names where, Jack and Robert. They were pretty cool, after we finished our first class they escorted me around the school, telling me were everything was and how to reach all my classes and where they sit at lunch breaks.
As each class went by, I met more and more people, through this I was able to know this adventure was going to be one of my greatest ones yet. The school day ended and I said goodbye to Jack and Robert, it wasn't a far walk from the house roughly 20 minutes walking at a steady pace. As I was walking home, I passed by the park and went over to it and sat on a bench. As I sat and watched the day go past, I could hear the sounds of bird singing and the joyful screams of children, this day just couldn't get any better I thought to myself. As the day turned to night I continued walking home, it was a nice and calm walk home. As I reached home, I could hear my mother calling out to me asking "How was your day dear?" I replied with happiness "It couldn't have been any better." As I walked up stairs and unpacked my gear, I could hear footsteps sprinting up the stairs it was my little sister, but as soon as I turned around I was being squeezed tightly by a warm hug. It was nice receiving a hug every time she sore me, she was a little cutie. But as I put her down she started nagging me "Can I have a piggyback? Please can I have a piggyback? Please?" I couldn't say no to someone as adorable as her, I bent down and let her jump on my back and started racing down the stairs, zooming outside, rocking side to side. By the time I ran out of energy I think I had become deaf as well from the screaming, we dropped down and laid on the grass watching the night sky passing by with its beauty as we waited for dinner. The smell of mother's homemade shepherd's pie filled the air rapidly, it started making our mouths water.
As we were summoned for dinner we bolted into the dining room, waiting for the best dinner ever, we spent about an hour at the table that night, talking and chatting away, it was one of the best nights ever. After dinner I went for a shower and was heading off to bed when my little sister called out to me "Jordan can you please read tuck me in and read me a bed time story?" I walked over to her and picked her up and headed off to her bedroom, as we headed off I asked "What book would you like me to read to you tonight?" She replied back with "The BFG" We reached her room, I placed her in bed and tucked her in and went over and sorted through the stacks of books and found The BFG, I sat at the end of her bead and started reading it didn't take long before she was asleep, but I always read a little bit longer, just to make sure. As I finished I headed off to bed myself, I started to wonder if tomorrow was going to be as good or if it was going to be even better.
