The Adventure At The Park

The next day I wake up earlier than usual, but for some strange reason I have butterflies zooming around my stomach. I pack my school bag and head down stairs into the lounge room and start watching Sponge Bob Square Pants. As I am watching I can hear someone moving around the house, so I turn around and it is my sister she comes over to me and sits on my lap. We sit there for about 40 minutes watching TV until our parents wake up. As I hear them wake up I grab my little sister and we head over to the kitchen and I start preparing breakfast for everyone. Today I was making omelettes for brekkie, I finished making my little sisters into a unicorn for her, I must admit it is a lot harder than making it into a love heart for my mother and just plain and simple for me and my father. As my parents came out and sat at the table I gave my little sister a cup of juice and my parents a cup of tea. As we were eating we started talking about what everyone was getting up to today, my parents were going to work, I was going to school and my sister was going to preschool for the first time. As we all finished up my sister asked me "Jordy can you please walk me to preschool today and pick me up this afternoon?" I joyfully replied "Of course I can."

Everyone left the table and got ready for their days, before I finished getting ready I quickly tidied up the kitchen, then finished packing for school. Once I was done I headed over to my sisters room and helped her get ready, as I entered she was deciding what to wear, she asked me "Jordy what do you think I should wear?" I replied with a gladly "Your pink dress" She cheerfully replied "Of course, how silly am I not to think of that." I must admit for only being in preschool she was very intelligent. As she finished getting ready we headed off into the kitchen and I helped pack her lunch, as we finished we gave our parents hugs and kisses and left, but as we did we both said in sync "Love you, mum and dad." We started heading off to her preschool, as I walked, she started skipping and dancing around in circles, and it was so adorable to watch. As we were walking I thought of a great idea, I walked up to my little sister and asked her "Did you want to do aeroplanes?" She screamed out "Yes! Yes! Yes!" If you are wondering what aeroplane is, it is when I put her on my shoulder and she spreads her arms out like an aeroplane, she absolutely loves it. So I grabbed her and launched her on my shoulders and we started heading off again, it was adorable listening to her making the sound effects, she is just amazing I truly don't know how I could live without her. As we reach her preschool, I enter with her and tell her I will see her at 2:30 this afternoon, she launches at me and gives me a big hug and kiss, just as I let her go I give her a kiss on the forehead and tell her "I love you" She replies back "Love you too." I continue on my way back to school.

As I reach school I hear the school bell go off, I quickly race off to class. I had English first up today, it was alright, but truly it was pretty boring to start off the day. After English had finished after what had felt like an eternity, I headed off to Chemistry, then Accounting and then to finish the day Maths. Overall my school day was pretty boring. But really I was looking forward to this afternoon, I have been planning to take Chloe my little sister over to the park and muck around there for a couple of hours. So I headed off to go pick her up and upon my arrival I hear her voice scream out "Jordy" It was so adorable hearing her scream full of excitement. As I walk over to her she sprints at me and gives me the biggest hug of all time, as she is hugging I ask her "How would you like to spend the afternoon with me?" as I looked at her I could see a beautiful smile growing bigger and bigger and eyes lighting up and she replied excitedly "Of course I would." So I grabbed her and we started skipping together and dancing around in circles, it was truly magical, to be honest I wished this moment would never end. As we reached the park I scooped her up and chucked on my shoulders and headed into the park. As we stopped in an open area, I put her down and asked her "What would you like to do here?" She replied rapidly "The swings! The swings!" We raced over to the swings, but of course I lost she is like a cheetah just incredible and adorable, as we reached them I helped her up and started pushing her. She was laughing like there was no tomorrow, through the laughter she was screaming "Higher! Higher Jordy higher" so I pushed her higher and higher. Until she was like a rocket ship preferring to take off into outer space. After she stopped swinging, we started playing tag, I could never get her she was just too quick. But as it started getting darker we stopped and laid together on the grass, watching the end of the day turn tonight and seeing all the stars coming out shinning more beautiful than ever. I could see she absolutely adored them, but who wouldn't enjoy the beauty of the night sky. Sadly we had to go, to make sure we were in time for dinner.

As we walk home we play the aeroplane game, I must admit it's the best activity to do under the night sky. As we arrived home, I put Chloe down and she gave me a giant hug and kissed me on the cheek and bolted inside. After I admired the night sky once more I walked inside, I could already hear Chloe telling mum about how her day was and the fun we had at the park. Once our dad got home we all sat around the dinner table, eating and talking of our adventures for the day. "It was the best day I have ever had" said Chloe, I was so glad she had an amazing day, I would do anything to see her smile. As dinner finished and I went for a shower, I tucked Chloe in and continue reading The BFG, but this time just before she fell asleep. Chloe whispered to me "Thanks for the greatest day of all time. I love you heaps" she dozed off after that, just as I was leaving I gave her a hug and kiss and left by saying "I love you too." I walked off into my room and laid on my bed looking out my window at the beauty of the night sky and dozed off myself.
