-SCARLETT'S POV-
I head over to Newt's laboratory purely out of curiosity. My arm gently brushes the door and Newt looks up. I hadn't even noticed him until his head popped up from behind a stack of books on kaiju biology. Newt's face lights up when his eyes meet mine.
"Glad you decided to come! What can I do you for?"
"Oh, I was just curious.. I was thinking about maybe becoming your assistant?" Newt considers this.
"How much do you know about Kaijus?"
"As much as I need to know."
"And how much is that?"
"Absolutely nothing." I reply in my cut English accent.
"Funny. You seemed like the nerdy type to me."
"Nerdy? Sorry, looking like a loser isn't part of my system."
"I figured it wouldn't be,"
"So, did my results come back?"
"If they did they wouldn't go to me."
"Who receives them then?"
"The Marshall."
"I'll go ask him for 'em."
"Do what you want."
"I will."
