2. There have only been 2 Mogadorian attacks since Pikus' s gone into a coma 2 years ago. We've been on a little island ever since the second attack. I guess Ty' s uncle had tons of hideouts all over the world.

I just finished fishing. I caught about 20 fish which would last us for a week or two.

I've only discovered one new legacy, and I wouldn't even call it a new legacy it's more like an ability with my first legacy. Whenever I use my legacy animals are attracted to it. I don't know why, but they are.

I went past all the trees that surrounded the hideout and past the waterfall that covered the entrance. Yes, there is a waterfall on this island. I've never seen a waterfall on an island before so I was shocked when I first saw it.

I walked through the dimly lit cave until I saw an opening on the left side of the cave and went inside it.

I put the bag of fish on the table and proceeded to go to my room. I would've went to visit Pikus, but today we were going to disconnect him. I couldn't go look at him even if I tried. Ty went to the mainland to go get some other supplies. The best I could do to distract myself now was to sleep. Lately, my sleeping patterns have been off. I'd stay with Pikus most of the day then go hunting and repeat unless I got too tired.

I tried my hardest to sleep, but all I could manage was tears. I felt like I wasn't living, like I was seeing everything through someone else. I wish so hard at times that I was normal, but I'm not. I never will be.

Then, I drifted to sleep. I must've slept for a long time because I heard my alarm go off. BEEP BEEEP. I turned it off before I remembered what time I had it set for. I had it set for when we were going to disconnect Pikus.

I got up slowly trying to prolong the pain that was soon to come. I walked past the kitchen and past the training room up to the infirmary door where Ty waited for me. Me and Ty had become very close since we were all each other had. He could see the sadness in my eyes. I looked at him with tear brimmed eyes and did a slight smile to show him I didn't need any comforting, but I did. He gestured that I could open the door and go in first to say goodbye.

I opened the door while looking down, but when I looked up the bed was empty. Pikus was gone.

"Ty, is this a joke?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" he asked peaking into the room,"Oh, what the!"

"Ty, what happened?!" I asked panic rising in my voice.

"I- I-I- I don't know……" he said slowly.

"What do we do?!" I asked while looking around the room.

"Group up." he said coldly.

"What do you mean?!" I asked wildly.

"You know, find the others. It's about time." He said calmly. The thought never even crossed my mind.

"But, what about……" I said before Ty hugged me. He was like my big brother.

"He'll be ok." he said before I pulled away and ran outside.

I went to the left half of the island's beach and went into the water. I swam for a while before I saw the cave I found the first time we came here. I went into the cave and got out of the water and on to the smooth rocks. The water reflected off of the walls. I stared at the reflections as they moved and I tried to imagine what they created. Before I knew it, I was asleep.

I woke up the next morning and heard something I haven't heard in a long time: laughter. I got up and went out of the cave to see what was happening. When I looked outside I saw him. Number 3. I remember him from when we were younger. He still had a childish grin and golden blonde hair. His eyes shone blue like the sea. He wore a black vest and skinny jeans. Then, he turned to me and said one thing.

"7."
