Chapter 2
"Pool!" Sarah and Damon said at the same time. They glanced at each other for a second before both bursting into a hysterical fit. Wow they got along well for sister and brother.
Jason and I would usually be fighting every single day for the littlest things, like once I wanted the last pink lollipop at a candy shop and of course he fights it from me just to annoy the hell out of me.
"Um it's like five degrees out there" I remarked, wondering who the hell would want to go out in that freezing cold water.
"Stop being such a wussy Meggy," Jason replied with a hand gesture, "Last one there is a rooten egg." He said already running out the side door.
"Ja-" Sarah started but he was already out the door, "I guess he'll be the rotten egg because the pool is on the other side of the house."
I giggled softly and followed Sarah and the boys through the other side door. I saw all of the guys jump one after the other into the pool, still fully dressed.
They let a tidle wave splash Sarah and I, both of us completely drenched. Sarah suddenly jumped into the water right on top of Enrico and started to play drown him.
What the hay, I thought and shrugged my shoulders as I also canonballed into the water.
Coldness soaked its way into my body as soon as I touched the water. My body was enveloped by it and I quickly swam to the top for breath.
"Rotten egg!" I heard Malcom shout to Jason as he entered from the backyard. He flushed a cherry red but soon enough was in the pool, splashing all of us with his jump.
"Let's play chicken fight!" I volunteered, secretly wanting to go on top of Damon. Yes, I do admit I was that desperate. Sarah nodded in agreement and quickly hopped onto Enrico's neck making him sink under the water. After the rest of the boys realised that there was only one other girl they rushed towards me, all except Malcom.
Just as I hoped, Damon pulled me towards him and practically ordered me to hop on his neck. I stopped myself from grinning as I held his muscular shoulders and jumped on.
"Referee!" Jason called and smirked at the other two boys. Of course Malcom didn't mind going on top of Luke but I could tell didn't really like the position.
"Go!" Jason shouted as we all rushed towards each other. Malcom and Luke were the first to topple over since I pushed them and Sarah an Enrico were next only because Enrico was kind of short and his whole head was submerged. So all in all Damon and I won fair and square.
"Um referee that was a foul." Sarah announced.
"We didn't even touch you." I exclaimed taken aback. Damon had on the same shocked expression I had and I could already tell that Jason was too lovesick to say the truth.
"Yes, I pronounce the winners Sarah and Enrico." Jason pointed towards them. Both Enrico and Sarah had smirks plastered onto their faces.
"Don't worry about them they're just BIG FAT CHEATERS!" Damon said the last words a little louder. Both of them turned towards us and sent us some hard glares as we laughed.
We eventually got out and changed for dinner because Mrs. Parker called. Of course since it was our first night staying she wanted the whole family to go out for dinner and when she said 'whole family' she meant even the other boys and one of Sarah's friends.
"So which do you think I should choose?" Sarah asked as I was unpacking my suitcases. I turned around from what I was doing to see her holding up two dresses.
One was a long silk aquamarine dress with spagetti straps while the other was a flaming sexy red one that was strapless.
"The red one...it makes your eyes stand out." She smiled and entered the bathroom. I rampagned through my suitcases until I found what I was looking for: A lilac coloured dress which reached up to my knees in ruffles. I slipped it on before Sarah walked out of the bathroom and quickly placed my sliver heels on.
"Wow you look gorgeous." We both said at the same time and started to laugh.
"Ready?" She then asked after we finished doing our hair and makeup.
We descended down the flight of stairs to be stared at with five pairs of eyes. All of their mouths gawking including Malcom's.
"Wow, you both look beautiful." Damon exhaled, looking into my eyes. I couldn't help but blush as we reached the floor.
"So Meggy will be my date, Tara will be Damon's, Sarah with Jason and Malcom with Luke." Enrico announced proudly. Everyone turned to him and all with speechless expressions.
"Excuse why do you get to go with Megs? AND I AM NOT GOING TO BE MALCOM'S DATE!!!" Luke shouted as he realised what Enrico really said, "No offense Malcom or anything but I'm straight."
"Well I don't mind going with Sarah so I'm fine." Jason proclaimed and glanced at a now blushing Sarah
"Yea Tara's sexy so that's good for me." Damon smirked. I couldn't help but feel a wave of jealousy and anger wash over me. What did Tara have that I didn't?
And my question just got answered as Tara walked in from the front door.
Wow! She was stunning> A supermodel body wit chest-nut coloured wavy hair and piercing green eyes. She was wearing a dark blue dress that showed off her perfect curves.
"Tara!" Sarah shouted as she ran to embrace her friend. "Hey."
Sarah quickly introduced Jason and I to her and we all left to head for dinner.
Some reason I knew this wasn't going to turn out well...
