"What the hell was that?!" Dylan said shocked.
"I don't- um, he was- its um complicated." I said stumbling after every word.
"I see that. Is Jace really your mate?" he said slowly talking as if he was unsure of his own words. I glanced at Holden who was now sitting on a chair deep in thought. I always hated when he got like this. It was as if he was trying to solve all the worlds problems, constantly running his hands through his chestnut hair.
"Yes, he is but-" I Said quietly. Dylan stormed out of the room with a groan of frustration. The room got quiet again.
"Are you going to reject him?" Holden said. looking at the ground. Though I didn't see his eyes, his tone held his desperate feelings. My hands fiddled with each other matching my awkward shuffling feet.
"Um I- I don't want to hurt him but I- I guess I could but- Um?" I let out a sigh I had been holding in "I don't know!" I said, and finally the waterworks came. Holden immediately got up and rushed to me. He rapped his arms around me and gently guided my head into his chest. I accepted his warm embrace as I hiccupped and stained his shirt with my tears. Gently stroking my hair he whispered.
"Shh baby girl, I don't need an answer now it's ok, you're ok, I'm here and I love you no matter what." He said softly. I only nodded, still hiding my face in his chest. I looked up at him and smiled when I saw his face looking down on me, worried. He smiled back at me and wiped a slow traveling tear off my cheek with his thumb.
"I love you." he said softly staring down at me. It seemed as if he was saying this more to himself than me. I bit my lip. Could I say it back? Did I want to say it back? On the inside my wolf was practically begging me to accept Jace and leave Holden, she knew this was wrong, not how nature planned it out to be. But my human side wanted Holden, she knew that Holden would be with her through thick and thin, left with the satisfaction of knowing whatever happens she'll have someone that loves her to the moon and back.
"I- I love you to Holden." I said as I put my head back into his chest sighing contently. I didn't care what my wolf was telling me. Holden loved me and I loved him back. No mate bond would change that.

I woke up to the sound of running water and singing. Confused, I poked my head out of the covers. Holden was showering. I stretched and let out a yawn releasing all of yesterday's tension. Today was going to better. It would be normal, just like everything was before Jace. I silently tiptoed out of bed and made my way to the bathroom door picking my phone off the dresser. Cracking the door I silently put the phone to the crack. I could hardly contain laughter as Holden belted out, That's what makes you beautiful. Although no one but me knew it, he was a die hard one direction fan. I pressed record, this was definitely going on Facebook. When Holden was done singing I clapped loudly. He immediately turned toward the door his cheeks red with embarrassment. "Bravo Holden, I didn't know you liked one direction." I said smiling. He sheepishly looked at the ground. It was cute to see him blush.
"You will tell no one what you heard, now go so i can- O MY GOD cassia were you recording!" He said scrambling out of the shower. Another mischievous grin appeared on my face. I held it up in the air victoriously.
"Don't worry, I just recorded the whole thing. Only like ALL of the pack is going to see it. No big deal." I said and walked out the bathroom giggling like a child. I heard movement and later Holden came out with nothing but basketball shorts hanging low on his hips.
"Cassia delete it." he said attempting his 'authoritative voice'. I took a step back grinning like a fool.
"What if I don't want to delete it." I said in an innocent tone.
"Delete it, or else."
"Or else what Mr. Big bad beta?"
"Or else Mr. Big bad beta will come delete it himself." he said starting to walk closer. I walked backward till my back abruptly hit the wall. He closed me in with his hands on either side of my head. His torso shimmering from the beads of water on his freshly showered body. His minty breath fanned my face. I bit my lip and inhaled taking in all of his Delicious scent.
"When you're ready come and get it." I whispered teasingly. He gave me a cocky grin.
"I don't think were talking about the phone anymore." He eyed my lips hungrily and I did the same.
"I don't think we are either." I Said seductively. Immediately he closed the gap between us and warmth spread to my lips. He pulled away and sent tiny kisses down my collar bone. More moans. I shuddered and closed my eyes gasping in pleasure as he made out with my sweet spot. Dylan abruptly stopped. I opened my eyes to find him frowning.
"What's wro-"
"We have an Unwanted audience." He said gesturing toward the door. My jaw almost dropped when I saw him. auburn hair, emerald eyes. It was Aiden, Jace's friend. What the hell was he doing here.
"Yes, but I liked the show, as much as I wanna sit and watch I cant, Dylan needs you and me in the board room now. You forgot about the meting?" he said looking at Holden. Holden sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"Sorta, one sec." He walked to the dresser and through a shirt over his head.
"Aye man can I take a leak in your bathroom." Aiden said nonchalantly.
"Yeah sure, ill see'ya down there. Love you cassia, bye." Holden kissed me on my head and ran out. I looked to Aiden who was now slowly closing the door. My eyes lingered on the door, he had locked it. His face held a devilish grin. I took a gulp trying to settle my fear but I had to admit being in a room alone with him intimidated me.
"What do you want Aiden?" I said while awkwardly scratching my neck.
"Ahh smart girl, you know I had an ulterior motive...I'm hear for Jace, I'm like a-messenger." He said with the same evil grin plastered on to his face.
"Well what's your message?" I said cautiously.
"Be at the lake exactly at 5 pm- Alone. If you chose to not listen, tell anyone about this or bring somebody we will hurt Holden."
"But you cant hurt Hol-"
"No that's where you're wrong, it actually took a lot of convincing to not have Jace kill the fool last night, you can thank me for saving your boyfriend, Anyway one slip up and Jace wont hesitate to kill him. So I suggest you be there on time." Aiden unlocked the door and walked out. I sat on the bed stunned at Jace's audacity to send Aiden and threaten me! I would go to the lake at five but not because I want to see Jace. Trust me I don't want to be within five miles of that jerk. I'm going to do it because Holden would do it for me. I love Holden.

Heyyyooo people, sorry my update took so long. School has been kicking my but, anyway How do u like Holden. Im not sure if I can get over his sweetness >.< I need someone like him in my life.
