You find yourself sleeping on a park bench, and it appears to be the middle of the night, the air feels crisp and cool with the wind blowing through the trees. You hear a noise coming from a path in front of you, as you arose from the bench your heart begins to slightly race and your body feels warm, you start walking down the dimly lit path and about half away into your walk you start seeing drops of blood on the rocky path, then it slowly started to turn into a long trail of blood. Then you stop as you feel your feet submerged in a pool of unknown liquid and suddenly your body freezes, unable for you to move, lights dimmed around a forest like area and then you hear footsteps emerging from the left side of the forest.

"Your lucky that your still around, you little bitch" a man with long, red hair, dark lips, and glowing green eyes appeared out of the shadows. He looked like he was very angry and it made you shake a little but also wondering what he meant.

"Like I said before, you shouldn't have done that" another voice said, you looked to the other side of the forest and saw what looked like a little boy wearing a long green shirt, with a green hat, and his eyes were black with red pupils. You started to get extremely nervous.

"What do you mean? What did I do?!" you asked the boy, but no reply.

"Why do you hurt us so" another voice said, a little girl with brown hair, covered in blood, wearing a pink night gown, and holding a teddy bear, was weeping and wiping tears off her face. You became a little stunned.

"I-I didn't hurt anyone! What's going on?! Please! Tell me!" you raised your voice, feeling scared.

Suddenly you started to hear more and more voices coming from the forest telling you awful things, such as; 'You don't belong here' 'You should be punished' 'Damned!' 'Your the true embodiment of evil' 'Leave!' 'You should die!'. Your whole body began to shake, as you started to see a whole gang of monsters appears, looking very angry and had their eyes all on you.

"You really are a evil, little bitch" you heard a familiar voice, you look to your right and it was Jeff, leaning against a tree.

"Jeff..." you muttered, then you started to feel your eyes began to tear up.

"You should pay for what you did, like they say, an eye for eye" Jeff said in a deep voice.

"W-what did I...?" then you all of sudden started to feel some liquid on your hands, you looked down and saw your hands were covered in blood, then a light shines above you and you see a horrific sight, your feet were submerged in a pool of blood and just a few feet away from you was the body of a dog; it was Jeff's dog. The voices became more louder and more intense.

"Stop! Please stop! I didn't do this I swear! STOP!" you began to shout as tears stream down your face, you covered your ears in hopes of blocking out the voices, and your eyes closed shut to not look at the horrible sight anymore. Soon enough the voices stopped and the aura around the area seemed a bit more calm. You opened your eyes and the whole area around you was pitch black, your hands and feet weren't covered in blood anymore and the space felt a little warm.

"This space...it's so...familiar" you said in low voice, then you looked to your right and noticed a big, red and black glowing ball, then you started to hear a voice coming from the ball.

"Help me...Help me!" it sounded like the voice of a little girl, you started to walk towards the ball and the voice started to become more frequent. When you eventually arrived in front of the ball you reached your hand out to touch it; then suddenly a hand pops out and grabs your wrist and tries to pull you into the ball. You started to struggle to break free and beg the thing to let go, then you saw a pair of black eyes with purple pupils starring at you.

"Mindfreak is coming for you!" the voiced changed from a little girl to an eerie, dark voice and began to chuckle evilly. Then you quickly raised up from your bed and and let out a scream, you started to breath rapidly, and tears were still streaming down your face. Your bedroom door bursts open which makes you jump and Jeff walks in with a knife, which made you scream again.

"Woah! Woah! Easy easy! Calm down (y/n)! What the hell is going on in here?! Did someone break in?" Jeff then noticed your body was trembling, and your eyes were filled with tears. He places the knife on a nearby desk and walked over to your bed, sitting on the edge to your left. Without warning he wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a full embrace, you were shocked by this sudden sign of affection.

"I'm gonna take a wild guess here that you had another nightmare, didn't you?" he asked, you didn't say a word as you slightly nodded and wrapped your arms slowly around him.

"Tell me about it" Jeff muttered

"P-pardon?" you asked

"Tell me about your nightmare, it seemed have really scared you"

You sighed and then began to tell Jeff of your nightmare, then you began to explain something else.

"It wasn't always like this, for the last 10 years I have had the same nightmare but this one was more intense. In the dream that I have had for the longest time it was only me waking up in that park, walking down the path, and it ends with that glowing ball calling out for help" you finished explain then Jeff looked a bit surprised.

"This nightmare is very concerning, you know why...because the part where I and the other monsters appeared calling out those awful things...actually happened 10 years ago" you're widened a little to the shock of this news.

"Are you serious?!"

"I am, you honestly think I would lie about this!" Jeff raised his voice a little, which made you shake a little, then Jeff took a deep breath to calm himself.

"Look...I'm just saying this is no coincidence, this nightmare and the mention of Mind Freak is very concerning" you never seen Jeff so worried before, this was a little odd but you could tell he was very serious about this.

"Jeff...who or what is Mind Freak?" you asked, he turned and looked at you with a very serious look in his gaze.

"I can't tell you...not yet at least" Jeff muttered in a serious, low tone.

After only a month with him, it seemed things have gotten worse now that your nightmares were getting increasingly aggressive. How much longer does he plan on staying? Will this nightmare go away if he leaves? So many questions, that need answers, but the one question that lays deep in your mind needs the most attention and an answer very soon; Do you really want him to leave?
