It was now the second month and its a Monday morning, time to start another week of school and another day with Jeff living in your house. You were getting quite annoyed by the fact that he hasn't left yet or were you getting annoyed by the fact that he might leave one day? The nightmares contained to get worse and every night Jeff would appear by your bed, holding you tightly to calm you down. You felt like you were being a burden on him and it made you feel slightly upset, but then you also think that he makes the choice to come into your room in the middle of the night whenever he hears you scream. Then you started to look at this from another perspective whenever he would hold you it made you feel warm, safe, and free of any feeling of being scared; it was like all of those fears and worries disappeared in his arms. You finished tying your shoes, grabbed your bag, and headed out the door with Jeff and headed off to school
"Did you get any sleep last night? You didn't seem to scream at all last night" Jeff said
"Not really...I still had the same nightmare" you muttered, looking down a bit.
"Then why didn't you call for me?" Jeff muttered under his breath
"Pardon?" you asked, Jeff, realized what he said and decided to shake it off
"Nothing..." Jeff muttered, you wanted to ask him again but you were kinda worried it might piss him off, so after a little bit of silence, you decided to ask him a question you have been wanting to ask ever since you saw his face.
"Jeff...how did you end up the way you are today?" Jeff turned and looked at you with a very straight face
"Unless it's too sensitive of a topic, you don't have to answer" you nervously blurted out.
"No its fine, I will tell you" Jeff sighed and cleared his throat.
He began to explain the beginning of his story, starting off with Randy, Keith, and Troy. Jeff and his brother Lu were waiting at the bus stop then when those three kids showed up and started giving them a hard time, so Jeff defended his brother by giving the boy's knife wounds and other injuries, then Jeff started to feel something he couldn't explain; the need to hurt others. Once the police showed up at their house Lu took the blame and was sent to juvie. Soon he had to go to a birthday party next door, he was playing with kids when suddenly the boys showed up again and this time things got worse. It was a life and death fight, to point were Jeff was covered in alcohol and bleach, and he had murdered the boys, by the end when Keith was still awake he lit a lighter and threw it at Jeff who turned into a human torch. In the hospital when the doctors removed the badges on his face, he looked in the mirror and started to go insane by the sight of his new face; laughing and saying it was perfect. Soon after, Jeff decided to cut his face into a smile and burn his eyelids, his mother was horrified by his face and Jeff snapped then killed his whole family.
"Well that's my story..." then Jeff started to notice that you were sobbing, he stopped you and turned you to face him "...come on now, why are you crying? You seriously can't feel sorry for me" Jeff said in a somewhat serious and concerning tone.
"B-but...it's not...your fault," you said in-between sobs, then Jeff's eyes widen and felt a little caught off guard, he had never heard that from anyone before.
"T-those boys, deserved to die after what they did to you and your brother...if they would have left you alone, you wouldn't have suffered so much pain!" you continued to sob as Jeff stood there looking mortified by this sudden reaction. Without warning, Jeff wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close.
"Stop crying, I have heard enough if it every single night," Jeff said, as you wrapped your arms around him and hugged him tightly and slowly stopped sobbing.
