The sun began to rise and soon enough Jeff would be on his way to pick you up. To be honest, after some serious thinking last night during a few rounds of poker with Ben, you were unsure about wanting to see Jeff. There was no way a serial killer like him would ever be looking after a girl like yourself just because he wanted to. Those have probably been lies he fed you and you actually believed him. After hearing the truth about your nightmares and what is causing them, it all started to make sense. Jeff is just telling you that he wants to protect you and to stick by you just to gain your trust because he knows Mindfreak is living inside your head and he wants revenge on the death of Smile Dog. Makes perfect sense. You were in the bathroom getting dressed and ready to go home when suddenly you heard a knock on the door.

"Hey, you decent?" Jeff's voice called out.

"Y-yea come in" you responded with a little stutter in your tone. Jeff opened the door and he looked like he was pretty tired.

"You ready to go?" he asked.

"yea..." you said as you grabbed your bags and headed out of the room. As you were walking down the hallway, you noticed that Jeff was going to put his arm around you, but you moved to the side a little, rejecting Jeff's action. You had your head down and were completely silent, Jeff started to get a little annoyed but also worried.

"Hey um...why don't you get those papers signed, I want to talk to Ben for sec" Jeff spoke up.

"O-okay" you said in a low tone. Jeff took Ben outside of the hospital to chat.

"What did you tell her? Why is she acting like this?!" Jeff started to sound a little pissed.

"Relax Jeff, I didn't say anything bad about you I swear!" Ben said defending himself.

"Then why does she look upset and starting to become more distant from me?"

"I don't know! Did you do something to upset her?"

"Not that I know of..." Jeff muttered.

"Okay...then I can't help you, she must be having one of her women problems"

"That could be it...are you sure you didn't tell her anything else"

"Hmm...well after she awoke from her nightmare I explained to her about Mindfreak and how..." Jeff then cut Ben off by grabbing the collar on Ben's shirt.

"WHAT?! You told her about Mindfreak!" Jeff yelled. Ben then was silent for a moment and didn't seem to be frightened by Jeff's sudden rage.

"Yea, what's the problem with that?" Ben questioned.

"First of all, I should have been the one to tell her since she has been asking me about it! That's the reason why I left last night so that way I wouldn't give her false information. Second, I wasn't hoping that it was Mindfreak causing all her nightmares and abilities because we both know what that creature is capable of"

"But what are we suppose to do Jeff, make sure she doesn't fall asleep for the rest of her life! it would take a lot of magic to pull that off and sadly I don't have it" Jeff started to feel frustrated and a little helpless since he really couldn't much at this point. Jeff then sighed.

"Tell me...did she tell you about her nightmare? If she did, please tell me" Jeff asked. Ben then nodded and began to inform Jeff about your recent nightmare. Jeff looked displeased and a little shocked, he kept on wondering why would Mindfreak use him as a decoy to catch you off guard. Jeff began to suspect that something was up with you and it had to involve him. Jeff and Ben noticed the sliding doors open with you slowly walking out still having the expressionless look on your face.
