Sirius's POV

Professor McGonagall's office was already covered in cat toys and string. The string hung from the roof, the cat toys littering her desk and the floor.

"What?" James said, confused.

I just stood there, my mouth gaping. Then it hit me.

"ARABELLA!" I said and ran off to the Common Room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I found her lounging on the couch in black jeans and a My Chemical Romance t-shirt. She was reading a book, her long red hair out and hanging off arm of the couch. It nearly touched the floor.
"Did you litter McGonagall's office with cat toys and string?" I ask.
She looked up innocently.
"What?" she asked.
"You did that because you knew we were going to, didn't you?" I say, pointing at her.
She flinches hard, then frozen anger clouds her face as she puts her book down and walks over to me. She gently takes my wrist, then she quickly twists my arm around my back.
"Don't you ever point fingers at me, Black, or you won't have a finger to point. I did litter McGonagall's office with toys, but I didn't know you were going to. Happy?" she whispers in my ear.
James and Peter walk through the door and freeze. She sees them and lets me go, grabbing her book and lying down on the couch again. James and Peter walk over to me.
"What was that?" Peter asks.
"I started accusing her of littering McG's office and then pointed at her and she got up, grabbed my wrist gently, then twisted my arm around my back. She said that if I pointed at her again I wouldn't have a finger to point with and she did do it," I tell them. James nods and I shrug. We go down to the kitchen.
Remus comes down to the kitchen.
"Do you guys know what happened? Bella had blood on her when I went to the Common Room. She told me you guys had gone down to the kitchens," he said, trying to get some air.
James, Peter and I look at each other.
"No. We don't know why she has blood on her, but we had a run in with her. It wasn't a bad one. It was more her getting pissed with Sirius and threatening to cut off his finger," James said, looking concerned.
"You guys need to leave her alone. She shouldn't have all these run ins with us," he said, sitting down with a chocolate bar.
"Since when were you so concerned about her?" James asks.
"Since we became friends. Since I gave her a chance you guys haven't given her. Since I realised she needed someone. Since I found out she is quite nice, but you guys are too busy holding a grudge to realise who she is. What happened on the train is a joke and you guys probably would've done the same if you were her," he says.
James puts his hands up in surrender and we start talking about Quidditch.
Arabella's POV
I pace up and down the seventh floor, looking for a place to hide. I need to get away from people for a while. I don't want to talk to the boys. I just need to get away. I hear a noise behind me, a shifting near the wall and whirl around. There was door, where the wall had been blank. My brow creases in confusion and I walk towards the door, curious about what's inside.
The door opens to a room with a fireplace and a plush red armchair on one wall, a bed tucked under a window in the corner and another lined with bookshelves. There's speakers on each wall, wires running along the walls to the CD player next to the fireplace. I smile and walk inside and the door closes. I go to the wall lined with CD's and run a finger along the spines, pulling out Blurry Face by Twenty One Pilots. I put it on and HeavyDirtySoul comes blaring out of the speakers. My smile widens and I hiss in pleasure, the tip of my tongue poking through my teeth slightly. I grab a book on the armchair, flinging one leg over the arm and letting the other hang off the front. I settle in and start reading.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I enter the Common Room a few hours later, calmed down and happier. I start heading up for bed when someone grabs my shoulder. I turn to see Sirius behind me, shuffling his feet and fidgeting.

"Um, well, Remus said I have to wait for you to come back to apologise. He actually held his wand at my throat and swore at me until I agreed-" he started ranting, incredulous at Remus's actions.

"Sirius!" I interrupt him, "It's ok. Don't worry about, I'm ok."

"Remus telling us you had blood on you says otherwise," he says pointedly.

"Ok 1, since when have you cared, and 2, I accidentally cut myself," I reply.

"To answer, one I don't care, Remus got James to worry too, and you should be more careful," he said, his nostrils flaring. I was obviously getting under his skin.

"Yes mother. And sure you don't. Night," I say and go up to my dorm.

Sirius's POV

 I watched her leave, falling back on the couch. Why does she annoy me so much? She wasn't even being as annoying as usual.

"She isn't really annoying," James said and I turn to see Remus, Peter and him standing behind the couch.

"You were thinking out loud, and also, good job. At least she left smiling," Peter says.

"No she wasn't," I reply confused.

"Yeah, mate, she was," James says, patting me on the shoulder. I sigh.

"What's up?" Remus asks.

"I dunno," I say, frowning.

"Well, cheer up mate. We should go to bed before-" James said.

"GET TO BED. YOU'RE NOT MEANT TO BE OUT OF BED" the Head Boy chastised us.

We laughed and ran up the stairs to bed.
