Chase POV
I watch as Dean sits nervously in the living room waiting for me to come out my bedroom door. Sighing I jump down from the window I'm looking through and land on my feet. I had searched up Harper Street earlier and found that the nearest one was about a thirty minuet drive away or an hours walk. Deciding to get a taxi I walk into the city before hailing for a taxi.
"Number three Harper Street please." I tell the driver. He nods his head and starts driving. I take the short time I have got to try and concentrate on what I am going to say or what I am going to do if I see her. The drive seemed to go by too fast for my liking but I quickly pay the driver and exit the car. I wait until the taxi is out of sight before walking up the road to number twelve. It looks abandoned like no one has lived there in ages. Most of the windows are smashed and there is a hole in the roof. The front garden is just dirt on the ground. I slowly walk up to the front door. I hesitate when I am about to open it before looking back down the path. Can I really face her? I look back to the door again about to open but instead I sigh and turn to sit on the doorstep. I don't how long I sit there but it's only when I notice that I'm shivering from the cold do I get up. I can either go in and see her or leave. Before I make up my find the sound of footsteps coming up the road make me look that way. There she is. It seems forever since I last saw. Five years to be precise. She looks frail and ill. Her hair greasy and matted to her head. Her body is skin and bone with baggy clothes covering it. Her face gaunt and pale. Her eyes have big dark circles under them and completely lifeless. However their colour remains the same. In her hand looks like a bottle of beer. When she notices me she stops and gives a small sleepy smile.
"I'm suprised you came?" Her voice is thick with her Russian accent that I had grown to love, but her words are slurred and slow like she is drunk. She walks up to me trying to keep in a straight line. When she gets near the stench of BO and alcohol fill my nose and I try to not to gag at it.
"So am I." I eventually reply. She walks past me and crouches down before opening the door. Remembering her note I quickly move out of the way. An arrow goes flying past my head before landing in the street. I turn to her walking inside the abandoned building. Following behind I shut the door. She turns around but before she can say anything she collapses on the floor completely passed out. I walk slowly to her, debating if I should move her or not. Sighing I pick her up, her body pratically weightless in my arms and move to look in the other rooms, not bothering to go up the stairs incase there is anymore traps. In one of the rooms their is an old moth eaten sofa so carefully I place her on it.
Dean POV
Chase never came out of room the next day and and I waited because I wanted to ask him questions but whenever I tried to talk to him he would slam the door shut. Sighing I sit on the couch and turn on the TV. I don't know how long I sit there but after awhile I sigh and walk over to Chase's room and knock. When he doesn't answer I open the door. His room is empty and it looks like he hasn't been there for ages. Frowning I look around his room in search of any indication as to why he isn't there. Someone knocks on the door to the apartment. I walk out of Chase's room and go to answer the door. Peter stands there and looks at me.
"Chase is gone I need to know what you know I don't know when he will be back." He says before barging in. "I need to know everything you got." He states.
"Uh... not much but Alian's brother came and asked about her. And some weird guy at Kennedy Co said something about how things are back to front." I list. He nods quickly.
"What about meeting anyone? Has he gone to meet anyone. Spoken to anyone on late night calls?" He asks. I shake my head.
"No. None of that. At least not that I know of." I tell him. He nods his head.
"Okay well keep an eye out for anything tonight. And tomorrow I'm sure you will do the right thing." He says and before I can say anything else he is gone. Confused and tired I walk to my room planning to get an early night before I remember the fact Chase isn't here. I go to his room and do another quick search only to find nothing before I leave and shut the door.
Unknown POV
Slowly I open my eyes and look at my surroundings. It seems I didn't make it to my bed last night. Groaning I sit up only to see someone asleep in the chair next to me. Instinctively I get in a defensive position when I realise who it is. His face hasn't changed much, but he has aged a little bit. His hair is also longer as it covers one of his eyes. He looks so calm and peaceful whilst he is asleep. As if sensing I'm staring he opens his eyes and they look straight back into mine. The silence is deafening. He shifts and looks away briefly.
"Hello Ekate-" He starts but I cut him off.
"Don't call me that." I whisper, my voice hoarse from the drinking probably. He takes a deep breath before looking back into my eyes.
"Hello Alian."
