Chapter 15

Oli's Pov

I looked at Hannah giving her a thumbs up as she waited for the song to start.

"Okay Hannah we're gonna need you to sing the chorus of 'Savior' so then we'll have it already recorded and ready okay?" Russell said as he pressed some buttons in front of him.

Hannah nodded and waited for the music to start. She opened her mouth and the most beautiful voice I've ever heard came out.

"The words you say, are they true darling? You noticed I've been so quite lately.

You ask if I want to talk about it. We can work something out to make you smile again you say.

You noticed scars that showed upon my arm, am I hurting? Why has my love skipped meals?

Darling I promise if you put your trust in me you'll be safe.

Let me be your savior I want to keep you safe

Let me be the lullaby that sings me you sleep every night.

There were actual tears streaming down Hannah's face when she finished singing. She put so much emotion into that song and she stared me in the eyes when she sang too.

She exited the booth and Matt, Crystal, Roxy, and Candace gave her a hug one at a time. After they all gave her a hug she ran towards me and jumped into my arms.

"I wrote that for you Oli, you've made me realise that I'm actual beautiful for the first time in my life and I want to thank you for that." She cried into my shoulder.

"Your welcome love, all the things I said are true. You are perfect, you don't have to do all those things so you can be perfect. You already are. And remember those are just battle scars." I mumbled into her hair.

She started to cry again so she buried her head into my shoulder more.

"Hannah", I said to her. She lifted her head and looked me in the eyes. I set her on the couch and got on one knee.

"Hannah I love you more than you could ever imagine. Ever since you forgave me i've been the happiest i've ever been in years. You are my true source of love and happiness, when I see you I can't help but smile at how lucky I am to have you. That's why I, Oliver Scott Sykes ask you, Hannah Pixie Snow to take this promise ring so everyone will know you're mine and that we will be wedded one day. So will you accept my promise ring?"

Hannah smiled and tears started streaming down her face.

"Yes Oliver I will take the promise ring"

She cried as she engulfed me in a hug. She wrapped her arms around my neck and place her lips on mine. We kissed through her tart tears. She then released me before giving me one more last peck.

"I love you too Oliver, more than you could ever imagine" She said as she laid her head on my chest.

Everyone in the room cheered and roared because she said yes.

"I'm so proud of you Hannah, thank you for making her happy Oliver" Candace smiled at me then went out the door.

Everyone else thank me and congratulated us on our future engagement to come.

"I'm so happy for you two, no more recording for today we got what we needed Hannah congratulations"

Russell said as we left the recording room and headed down the hall to the entrance of the building. We walked out the building and stopped at our cars.

"Thank you Russell drive safe" Hannah said as we parted our way from him and went to her car.

I decided to drive since I knew she'd be too tired to drive from all that crying.

We pulled out the parking lot and made our way back to her house. I looked over and saw that she was sleeping with the side of her head pressed against the glass.

I smiled and continued to drive. I'm so lucky to have her.

After an hour we got back to her house and I carried her inside then laid her on the bed. I kissed her forehead and laid down beside her. I wrapped my arm around her waist and whispered I love you in her ear.

I let her soft snores lull me to sleep that night.
