I sipped my coffee, the thing Jesse just said going over my head.
Then right as I took a gulp of coffee, I realized what she said.
I spit my coffee back out into my mug, coughing.
I laughed, hysterical with happiness.
"So you're okay with it?" Asked Jesse, sounding small.
"Are you kidding me?" I asked, wiping coffee off my face. "That's some of the best news I've heard in my life..."
Jesse beamed, looking ecstatic.
"I just... I didn't know if you were okay with it.. I mean... When I brought the subject up... You didn't seem too happy..."
"I didn't want to hurt you in any way, Jesse." I smiled, feeling tears gather in my eyes.
Silence.
Jesse's pregnant?!
How long had she known?
How had I not noticed?
"I found out not too long ago... I... I can't believe I hadn't checked before..."
Sighed Jesse, taking a sip of coffee. "Three months. For three months I kept this from you."
"It's okay, Jesse..." I smiled.
Her stomach had a small bump, and I can't believe I never noticed it.
"I just can't believe I didn't notice it." I blushed, smiling.
"To be honest-" sighed Jesse. "I can't believe Olivia hasn't noticed yet. She's had her hands full with those twins, but she's always been good at noticing small details..." Jesse forced a laugh, taking another sip of coffee.
"And you're positive?" I asked. "Like, 100% sure your pregnant."
"Well if the pregnancy test on my nightstand says anything, I'm pretty sure that two lines says positive." She smirked. "And two blue lines are what I got."
Silence.
How will the others react to this?
I mean, none of them expected Jesse to have children.
How will Jesse tell them?
"How will you tell our friends?" I asked, not being able to stop thinking about how happy I was.
"I'll find some way..." Sighed Jesse. "They'll make a huge fuss over it either way."
I smiled, thinking about Jesse.
No matter how scared she was about this decision, I know that she wanted this.
She really wanted this, and I could tell.
"Well..." I smirked. "We're going to be parents... And I still don't know how to put my socks on without falling on the floor."
Jesse laughed, beaming.
"But you fall with the grace of a snowflake..." Laughed Jesse, sarcastically.
"Oh, very funny." I smiled. "Before long you won't even be able to reach your toes."
That made Jesse laugh harder, tears streaming down her face.
"Stop!" She laughed. "You're gonna kill me!"
I grinned, standing up and walking to her chair.
I wrapped my arms around her, kissing her on the cheek.
"You still smell like powdered sugar..." I smiled, breathing in her sweet scent.
"And you always smell like pine needles." Smiled Jesse. "I like pine needles."
I smiled, thinking about the future.

...

(I know I missed a lot of time, but I really don't know that much about pregnancy except for the stuff that I know from *cough*sex Ed*cough* so yea. Thats why I skipped forward in time)
(About 5 months later)
Jesse was due this week.
It's going to be a girl.
It had been a mess this past month, with Jesse's hormones, and Olivia coming over to visit Jesse.
Jesse had been stuck in the treehouse for a little over two weeks, because she was having a hard time climbing the ladder to our treehouse.
Axel and I solved this problem by putting a staircase in the back of the treehouse.
Jesse wasn't exactly happy about us building it, but j reminded her that we'd have to get out of the house someway when she went into labor.
She agreed, probably because she was thinking about the baby, too.
Believe it or not, Axel had actually held a conversation with me without threatening to punch me in the face.
I guess since our wives are... Bonding... We would have had to start acting nicer to each other eventually.
The week has been filled with Brainstorming up names for the girl, but nothing really stuck.
"Lukas!" Called Jesse.
"What?!" I asked, handing Nathan to Axel.
"Good luck, man." Sighed Axel. "You may think she's being unreasonable at times, but I swear- it will get worse."
"Can you bring me my.. "Jesse paused. "NEVER MIND! FOUND IT!"
I walked into the den, seeing Jesse struggling to reach something on the floor.
"Told you you wouldn't be able to reach your toes." I smirked.
"Shut up." Growled Jesse, plopping back against the couch. "Just grab the stupid phone."
I picked up the phone, handing it to Jesse.
"Thanks." Snapped Jesse, turning on her phone.
Olivia smiled warmly, thanking me silently.
I walked into the kitchen coming in just in time to stop Charlotte from opening the cleaning products cabinet under the sink.
"Nope..." I smiled, picking her up. "That's not one of the best things to play with." I booped her nose, making her laugh.
"Come on, Lukas." Groaned Axel. "My children have a hard time listening to me anyway. I don't want another person taking my place."
"Sorry..." I smirked, adjusting Charlotte in my arms.
Axel smiled.
"You know what? You're okay, Lukas." He said, sincerely. "You're going to be a great dad."
I smiled.
"Thanks, Axel."

...

Once again, I was woken up in the middle of the night.
"Lukas..." Hissed Jesse, the bathroom light on.
I sat up, my eyes adjusting to the darkness.
"Lukas... My water broke..." Breathed Jesse, sounding panicked.
Oh god.
"Okay, I-uh... I'm putting shoes on now... Just hold on... I'll get you-" I fell flat on my face trying to put my shoes on, causing Jesse to laugh shakily.
"Don't make me laugh, Lukas..." She forced a straight face. "It hurts to laugh..."
I picked myself up off the ground, grabbing Jesse's hand.
"Aren't you supposed to dial 911 or something?!" I asked, panicking.
"Lukas, no. We need to go to the emergency room... Now give me my shoes..."

...

Screaming.
Lots of screaming and yelling.
"LUKAS YOU IDIOT YOU'RE PUTTING ME THROUGH THIS!" Snarled Jesse. "IM GOING TO KILL YOU!"
I walked out for a minute, unable to hear Jesse scream anymore.
I saw Axel waiting for me.
"Don't worry. Remember how I said that she would get worse?" Asked Axel, leaning against the wall.
I nodded.
"Well this is as bad as it gets. It's normal, and hey- if I was in that much pain- id be cursing so much... You can't really blame them."
"Yeah..." I breathed, trying to continue the conversation.
Just think...
It will be okay in the future...

...

"THIS MUST BE YOUR OFFSPRING!" Boomed Ivor, staring at the girl.
Jesse held the girl in her arms, her emerald green eyes staring up at me. She had a wisp of blonde hair on her head, and smiled at me, squealing in delight.
"Can you hold her for a minute, Lukas?" Asked Jesse, sounding tired. "She's kind of crushing me."
I took the bundle, holding her in my arms.
"Look at that..." Smirked Axel, leaning against the wall again. "Lukas finally became a man."
"She had Jesse's eyes..." Sighed Olivia, "and Lukas's hair... She's beautiful."
"What are you going to all her?" Asked Harper, sitting down in a green chair.
I looked up at Jesse.
"Any ideas?" She asked, looking at me expectantly.
"You deserve to name her." I smirked. "After cussing out all the nurses, and carrying her with you for 9 months, you get the right."
Silence.
"Ellie." Said Jesse, breaking the silence. "After Ellegaard. Well call her Ellie"
I looked down at Ellie, who was yawning.
"Ellie..." I repeated, feeling tears gather in my eyes. "Ellie Hulting... Welcome to the world."

OMG YASSSS!
*cries tears of joy and happiness*
Okay. Like always, make sure to tell me your opinions...
Yeah.
