Norse Equestria (Loki/My Little Pony fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Twilight's POV

I began searching around the library I called home; I was trying to find something to improve on my magic, something I could show Princess Celestia so I could impress her after all she is my mentor and I like to show her what I have learned ever since coming to Ponyville. I searched in the back for anything I had missed, or could read again - in my case. I was about to give up on what I had already searched, when I came across a small, but old, book. It was black and the writing gold, but the writing was quite odd.

"Spike? Hey, Spike! Come here - I wanna show you something," I called to my baby dragon, who often helped around the place; he quickly came waddling in to the room, with a concerned look upon his face.

"Twilight, what's the matter?" Spike called as he ran up to me. He peered at the book I had hold of; he was curious to what it was.

"Hey, Spike, have you ever seen this book before?" I questioned, but he shook his head; I thought it could have been one of the books that were already here when we arrived, but I had already read all of those, so I thought it was hidden among them or hidden in between the cracks of the shelf.

I began to read through it, to get an idea of what the book was about; I soon found something that took to my interest. It was a section about the lost princess; I knew of her, but I didn't know a lot. I knew: she disappeared one day and no one heard of her since, she was an alicorn by birth, and the citizens of Equestria held a celebration every year to try bring her back. That was as much as I knew from the other ponies, but the book gave a bit more information on her. I found out that she tried all she could to make everyone happy, and she tried to be every pony's friend.

I found a spell I hadn't seen in any other book, so I guess my curiosity got the better of me and I read the spell out. Spike wasn't sure if I should be casting the spell, but what could be worse than losing my friends? So, I tried it out:

"Bring Back home the pony we once lost,

For all who are in sorrow,

will be happy again,

she was needed to be borrow,

to make a friend come out of pain,

but she is needed here,

In Equestria"

I began to wonder what could have happened after I had cast the spell; I mean, it was quite obvious it was a teleportation spell, but who knows what it could have teleported, "Ooo, I wonder what that could have done"

I returned to my studies, waiting to see what the spell may have done. After all, there was a possibility that it couldn't work or the spell failed.
