Celestyn's POV, Present Day

"What took you so long?" I asked Justin.

"This," He said, as he passed to me a tattered journal that he was holding.

"What is this?" I asked

"A journal of the events that have happened in this town." Justin said

Then, we filled up our bottles and found a place to review the journal that Justin had found.

Celestyn's POV, Evening

It seemed as if time stopped as we were reading through each of the pages and days of the journal. The more we read, the more we were intrigued. It seemed as if we were the children that the journal was saying.

"So, we were from this town?" I asked Justin.

"It seems so, from this one perspective we have." Justin said.

From that, we decided to rebuild this town.

So, the next day, we started to  gather all the materials we needed. We started by clearing all the rubble and finding materials that we could work with in the ruins.

There was lots of stone and wood that we have found. We decided to use the stone and wood to start building a house for the both of us to live in.

We spent a few days to gather the materials. As we were going through the rubble, we scavenged for any other remains that may give us a hint on what happened. But all other traces leading to the bunker and this town were vaporised in the aforementioned bomb explosion.

We then spent 3 days to get the base of our house done. It was made with a combination of stones and wood. Then we took another 2 days to do the roofing out of twigs and leaves.

Once our house was done, we were so proud of it. Even though it wasn't a mansion, we still spent a long time on it. It wasn't much but it does its sole purpose with pride and glory.

We knew that we needed to get food as the amount of food that we brought out with us was not enough to survive us for long.

So we decided to start farming for our food. We had found some edible greenery overcovering the rubble days ago. We decided to then harvest its seeds and grow them in our backyard.
