Skylar Octavia Swan is the identical twin to Isabella Marie Swan. Who happens to be a minute older and more clumsy and outgoing than her sister. Everyone calls her Skye. She comes to Forks, Washington with her sister, as their mom and step-dad Phil...
Nervous and refreshed, the two things I felt when I awoke. I got up and curled my hair, putting on one of my favorite outfits I bought when I heard we was coming down here. Oh, by the way my favorite animal is a wolf. I applied my make-up and headed down stairs to make breakfast for Dad and Bella. In case you didn't know I am the early bird of the family. I wake up at 5 a.m. everyday even if I went to bed an hour before.
It was now 6 a.m. I put on the song Powerful by Jussie Smollett and Alicia Keys. One of my few talents is singing. I was jamming and singing along when I heard Dad yawning, "Good morning, Father", I said in a sing-song voice. He was still waking up mumbling, "Good morning Sky". I went back to singing as I finished making eggs, pancakes, and bacon. Dad sat down I poured him a cup of coffee, while I got Bella and me orange juice. Speaking of Bella, I better wake her up before 7. Since we will be leaving... never mind I'm not going to think about it.
"BELLLAAAAA, WAAKKEE UUP", I scream into her room. I have never seen someone get up so fast. "You scared me to death", Bella exclaimed. I smirked telling her breakfast was ready, that we only had till 7:30 before we must leave. I walked back down as Bella joined us shortly after. The clock seemed to tick away it was already 7:25 a.m., great. "Dad we have to go", we said together. Dad hugged us giving us our keys and wishing us a good day. I ran and jumped into the jeep, I can't wait to drive it. Bella gets in her truck, looking the same. I pull out of the driveway first.
We arrive to school shortly Bella pulled up next to me. As we got out I locked arms with her as we got stares. I glared at everyone while Bella held her head down avoiding the gaze. I hate when people stare, it's one of my pet peeves. Walking in, a guy popped in front of us, "The Swan twins, right? Hi. The eyes and ears of this place. Anything you need. Tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on.", he asked.
I answered with yes, while Bella shook her head no. He looks past it, "I'm the school reporter, eyes and ears of this place, and baby you girls are the front page", he said with the geekiest smile. I winced at the thought, Bella started stuttering and rambling on. What Bells means is please don't do that. He laughed, "Whoa, chillax. No feature". Being the chief's daughters brings too much unwanted attention, and I can literally feel my sister's stress. This kid was funny. He showed us to the front office and was leaving. "Oh, by the way, I'm Eric!", he laughed running off.
We walk in the lady asks us if we we're Chief Swan's daughters. "Yes", I gave a sarcastic grin. She looked down and handed us our schedules. We were walking down the hall and had to go separate ways. The only class we had together was Gym and lunch period. Which I was sad about, Bella ten times more. I smiled walking down the hall when I ran into to someone. "Oh I'm sorry," I kept my face down. It's okay, "Wow you're the new girl, pleasure to m-m-eet you", the guy smiled. I laughed he seemed to be a flirt seeing as he grabbed my hand and kissed it.
I looked at him wide eyed until I was interrupted by a girl. "Hey, I'm Jessica you must be Isabella." I shook my head, "No I'm, Skylar, but just call me Sky." She looks baffled not knowing what to say. I told her it was cool and went on my way. Ah, English got to love it. I walked in and looked for an empty seat, mindfully while trying to keep a low profile. Luckily, it passes by quick, so does Biology and Math.
It's time for Gym, I love sports just so you know. Bella and I maybe be clumsy, even though I'm worst I still like to play. We went and changed into our gym clothes we we're going to play Volleyball! I feel excited, Bells look at me like I'm crazy. We are in the middle of the game, and I'm going to for the winning shot when Bella knocks into me causing me to trip. She hits the ball sending it flying toward the guy I met earlier.
She and I ran over, her to make sure he was ok; me to make sure he didn't hurt her feelings. "I'm sorry, are you okay, I told them not to let me play", Bella rambled on. I watched quietly. "No, no, it's, d-don't, you're Isabella, right?", Mike stuttered. I snickered to myself this guy is a big flirt. Just Bella, she spoke aloud. He shook his head, "yeah, yeah I'm Mike, Mike Newton. It's nice to meet you two.
As Bella was about to speak that girl, Jessica, skipped up. "She's got a great spike, right?", she joked with Mike. She mentioned her name was Jessica to Bella. "You both are from Arizona; people there are supposed to be tan, right?", she questioned. I shrugged. While Bella told her maybe that's why they kicked us out. Mike starting laughing, then Jessica started laughing. She wants him to notice her, attention seeker much?
I was starting to drag Bella away when they asked us to have lunch with them. Being new and sitting alone would put us in a predicament so we agreed. We changed and walked into the lunch room.
Bella, Mike, Jessica, and I carry our trays to a table. Eric appears, and squishes into a seat between Bella and me. "Mike, you met my home girls, Sky and Bella?" Mike laughs, "Your home girls?" Jessica laughs awkwardly with a hint of jealousy, "It's first grade all over again, and you two are the shiny new toys." I give her a pointed look; she knows to shut up.
Suddenly, a flashbulb blinds Bella and me. We look up at the photographer, Angela, Jessica's sweet, low key, insecure friend. Angela looks surprised, "Sorry, needed a candid for the feature." Eric tells Angela that the feature's dead and not to bring it up again. Then he looks to us, "I got your back."
Angela looks disappointed, "Guess we'll just run another editorial on teen drinking." Bella apologizes. I felt bad, I already like her more than Jessica. Bella mentions, "There's always eating disorders, as I finish her sentence, "Or Speedo padding on the swim team," while smirking. Angela smiled, "Wait, that's a good one." I laughed as I noticed Bella got quite and was staring off somewhere, I follow her head and saw what she was looking at, people walking on the double doors of the cafeteria.
