The best can be the worst

Chapter 1

*5 years prior*

Emily's POV

I am meeting a potential family whom is thinking about adopting me, today. I walked into the room to see a about 14 year old boy with crazy hair and a couple in there late thirties. I met them, they seem super nice the is boy who I know as Michael. Daryl and Karen are the parents and they are super nice. They are a perfect family for someone like me. My biological family was really mean. My parents beat me almost half to death. I still have scars from it. The day child services came to take me it was the best day ever I had never felt so safe in my life.

I spent 2 more days in this loving foster home. Then I was told to pack my stuff up and told the Cliffords were adopting me. I was so happy, knowing that I finally have a family, a home, people who love me for all my flaws. This is the best day of my life.

We went to the court house to have the Cliffords sign the paperwork the asked me if I wanted to take their last name I said yes because my last name brought so much sadness I couldn't continue it.

We loaded my stuff into their car and drove to my new house.

"Emily were almost home" Karen said.

"Ok" I said

We got home and Karen directed me towards my new room. The walls were grey they Daryl say I could decorate it as I wanted this is what it looks.

My first day of school at a new school was today. Im introduced as the new girl. The one person who sat with me at lunch was Sierra who is also new from America. She's so funny. The school day ended and i went home to a loving family.

*The next year*

Me and sierra are still friends. We are in middle school it's so much fun Michael started a band with his friends Calum and Luke, they still need a drummer. Calum is kinda cute but Sia already called dibs on him. I guess I'll take Luke.

*6 months later*

Michaels band is called 5 seconds of summer. They have a drummer now by the name of Ashton Irwin. They are getting really popular and the are actually pretty good.
