Juliet Snape(ON HOLD)

Chapter 2

Juliet's POV

I woke up and stretched my arms above my head. Then the butterflies in my stomach reminded me of what today is. The first day at Hogwarts. I squealed and jumped out of my bed and noticed a letter next to my bed. It read:

Juliet,

I had to go early to Hogwarts and I trust you to get ready yourself, when you are ready because your suitcase should be ready under your bed, just use the floo powder and say 'platform nine and three quarters. Do NOT be late, I do not need showing up.

That man seriously grinds my gears. I got up and dressed into some jeans and a flowery top. I can get into my uniform on the train. After applying my makeup I added a black bow in my hair. Simple but cute.

After making sure I had everything, I tucked my wand into my pocket and dragged my suitcase out of my room. I do have an owl but my father took him with him called 'Scorpius' I sat at the table and poured myself a cup of coffee. The train would be leaving in 10 minutes so I decided to step into the fireplace.

"Platform Nine and Three Quarters!" The green flames erupted around me and I appeared on the smokey station. Many happy families were gathered together, hugging and saying goodbye. I felt a bit lonely but then I saw my godparents, Lucius and Narcrissa Malfoy. They caught my attention by waving in my direction.

"Hello bear" Lucius smiled as he messed up my hair. I tried to fix it but then Narcrissa pulled me into a hug. "First day at Hogwarts Jules" she whispered wiping her tears that were dripping down her cheeks.

I smiled brightly at her, she was always so emotional. After saying my goodbyes I boarded the train and looked for a carriage. I looked across and I saw one with a girl stressing out about her two friends not being there, I looked in but she looked quite frightened of me so I carried on.

Then I found my cousin's compartment with him in his friends. He looked up and gave me a goofy grin. So I entered and sat on the end. Everyone said "hello" to me because I've seen them lots of times before. "First day at Hogwarts then Jules?" Pansy smiled, giving me a hug from the otherside of the table.

"Yep, dont know what house I'll be in though." They all looked at me shocked and said together "Umm Slytherin!" I laughed quietly to myself, Im not sure im the same as them entirely. Its what my dad would want. I just sat and listened to all their boring conversations about their rich holidays and we were almost there.

"Im gunna get changed" I chanted as I walked out of the compartment. I bumped into someone on the way. "Ouch!" I muttered as I landed on the floor. "Im sorry, I was distracted you see, nargles" the girl held her hand out to me to help me up. Her voice was very soft and she was very pretty. I could tell she was different because of her turnip earings.

"Luna, Luna Lovegood, second year Ravenclaw" she smiled flicking her blonde hair away from her eyes. "Juliet Snape, second year New girl" I shook her hand. "Nice to meet you Juliet, I guess I don't have any friends here-"

"Well you have me" I interupted her. I loved making new friends. Her grey eyes lightened up and she waved at me, skipping away, strange girl.

I quickly got changed and not long after we stopped at the station. I couldnt be bothered finding Luna or my Cousin so I went by myself.

"Snape, Juliet"

It was finally my turn to put on the sorting hat, there was a lot of whispers about my last name and how Snape could have a daughter, which made me laugh slightly, even I was surprised.

As the hat went on my head, it starting speaking to me.

"You are very different girl, Outside a Slytherin, but heart of a Gryffindor. Hmmm"

I couldnt be in Gryffindor, my dad would kill me, he hates them.

"You dont want to be a Gryffindor? Ok then, SLYTHERIN"

I looked to get my fathers approval, he looked shocked but was clapping. I looked at the table that were cheering so that must be my house. I couldnt bare the attention, so I waved to everyone, and walked to the library.

I left everyone in that hall especially the teachers with an impression that I couldn't care less, that will suprise them.

I looked over a shelf and I saw a girl with brown bushy hair that I saw on the train, reading a book by that git Gilderoy Lockheart. I watched in fasination as the girl got right into the book and her facial expressions changed throughout each page.

I chuckled to myself and she heard me and looked at me in shock. "W-what do you w-want?" She stuttered standing to her feet, she was trying to act brave but she was nervous, because im a Slytherin.

She held her wand out and I stepped back.

"Wow, I don't want to fight you or anything, my names Juliet Eileen Snape, Slytherin second year, and you are?"

"Hermione Jean Granger, Gryffindor Second year" she finally smiled. She sat down back to her seat and patted the one next to her, as I sat down she put half of the book on my lap, we both read in happy silence, I didn't realise how long we were until the librairan kicked us out.

Hermione seemed a bit flustered about being kicked out of the library because I guess she wasn't used to being told off before, as you know who my father is I am very used to it. On the way from the library it consisted of Hermione and I giggling and talking about our home life. "Are you sure you are a Slytherin Juliet?' she tilted her head to the side as she spoke, still not beliving what I said. "Yep" I answered, popping the 'p' "Hmm, your more like a Gyffindor, see you soon!" She waved, walking fast down the corridor.

Really? Am I nothing Like a Slytherin?

I knew the way to the Slytherin common room like the back of my hand because my dad has shown it to me many times before. As soon as I headed through the Dungeons, the horrible coldness surrounded me again, I wish they could move it to a higher floor. I said the password and headed straight to the room I was staying in, no way was I staying in that cold common room.

All the girls were asleep in my dorm and my bed was next to Pansy's. I jumped into bed without a second glance and thought of what tomorrow will bring....
