Chapter 2. Listen To Your Heart.

(A/N I’m changing Luke’s name to Michael since we have a lot of people starting with an ‘L’ in the story.)

Lilly POV

“This is beautiful!!” Lucy exclaimed, dropping her bags in the hallway. We just arrived in our new house. “It’s huge! Lilly your boss is awesome!!” Michael said running after Lucy. I just chuckled and looked around. The complete house had been decorated before we got here. All our stuff was unpacked except for the bags we took today. I opened some doors until I found my room. It was a large room with a queen sized bed in the middle. On the walls were a light blue combined with a sea-green. A little nightstand beside my bed and a couch with a TV were the only other furniture in my room. I loved how much space I had. There were three doors in my room. One lead to the hallway, one to my en-suite bathroom and one to my walk-in closet. I walked in to the bathroom, which contained a toilet and a hot tub, also a sink with a mirror above it. There was another door in my bathroom which I didn’t expect. I opened it and figured it was a door to my walk in closet. The closet was awesome and everything was ordered. I even noticed some wigs and dresses for my musical! I looked through some dresses when I noticed a secret door. I opened it and walked in. No, it wasn’t the passage way to Narnia, which was an absolute shame, but it lead to the roof. When I got there, I gasped. This was one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen, but that didn’t make me gasp. I had been here before…

*Flashback*

“C’mon Lilly. Only a few steps left, be careful.” Liam covered my eyes with his hands. We just had dinner for our date and we just arrived at a big building. We had gone up with the elevator and were now walking on a stairs. Which was pretty difficult without seeing a thing. “Keep your eyes closed, I got to open the door.” Liam said and I did. His hands were soon over my eyes again. We took a few steps forwards. “You ready?” Liam asked and I nodded. “Open your eyes.” His hands left my eyes and my breath got stuck in my throat. Not only because I was afraid of heights (and we were really high) but mostly because the view was so beautiful. “Wow Liam, This is so beautiful.” I said looking around. “I know but there is nothing more beautiful than you.” He said, sneaking his arms around my waist from behind. I was happy he faced my back because I was blushing heavily. I leaned back, my back against his front and his head was on my shoulder. “You know I love you don’t you?” He whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine. “I love you too Liam, more than anything in the world.” We turned to face each other and my eyes locked his chocolate brown ones. He suddenly leaned in and so did I. His arms around my waist, mine around his neck and we shared a passionate kiss…                Just a perfect moment…

*End of Flashback*

Tears streamed down my face thinking of that night. I know he broke my heart but I missed him so much. “So my friends been telling me, you’ve been sleeping with my sweater..” Liam’s voice filled the air. I took my phone out, sighed and picked up seeing it was Lucy. “Babe where are you? We searched the whole house but we can’t find you!” Lucy said sounding worried. “I’m on the roof, be down in a minute.” I replied. “Okay shall we go to Nando’s for dinner?” Lucy asked and I gulped. Nando’s was Niall’s favorite place to eat. “What if they are there?” “Don’t worry Lil. I know they’re not in London at the moment so we won’t run in to them there.” She replied and I sighed  “Okay I’m coming!” I hung up and walked down the stairs. I quickly changed in to something since I was still wearing my plane clothes.  I went for a white tank top, a denim jacket and my stars covered skinny jeans. Adding my high top Jordan's and I was Happy. I opened my necklace closet ( I want one A/N) and the first necklace that caught my eye made me tear up again. It was the one I got from Liam. I took it out and held it in my hand when Michael walked in. “You ready to go?” he asked and then he saw what I was holding. “You should wear it. Maybe it cheers you up a little, because it always does when you wear it.” He said. “That was before we broke up..” “and after you wore it a lot and I saw you smile every time you wore it.” He took it out of my hand and put it around my neck. I held my hair up so he could lock it around my neck.  I looked in the mirror and noticed he was right. I smiled again “Let’s go to Nando’s!”

*30 minutes later*

“I’m full, and I got to say, I found another thing I missed about London. Being able to eat at Nando’s!” I said laughing. Suddenly someone tapped on my shoulder and I turned around. One adorable little girl looked at me with to big blue eyes. She couldn´t be more that three years old and she looked very familiar. "Are you Lilly?" She asked in a small voice and I nodded, flashing a confused look at my friends. "Me too, I'm Lilly too!" She waved at us before skipping towards another table. I looked after her and when I noticed who was sitting at that table, my eyes widened. I got up and almost ran towards one of my old best friends. She got up, tears in her eyes. I hesitated before actually hugging her. I know, she was one of many who hurt me, but I just missed her so much. "I can't believe it's actually you! I missed you so much Lilly!!" She cried, while tears were forming in my eyes. "I missed you too, so freaking much! Even though it was only a year." I replied. "I'm so sorry for breaking contact and I'm sorry for not telling you why we had to break it. I'm not the person to tell you."I stepped back a bit and smiled. "I can understand, probably a task for one of the boys." She nodded. "Well actually only one boy. And I think you know who." Now it was my turn to nod, since I knew she referred to Liam. "Lilly, is everything alright?" Michael said behind me and I turned around. They looked worried but I just smiled and hugged them. "I'm happier than before!"I released them and turned back. "Well, these are Michael and Lucy. My friends from school. Guys, this is Eleanor Calder and her sweet daughter Lilly." They shook hands and we sat down together. Michael was actually playing with Little Lilly while Lucy and I talked with El. "So that's how everything went up until now after the contact was gone." I told her. "I'm so sorry for hurting you like that. But it wasn't fun and games with us either. Liam hasn't been like before. He's so quiet and we had some hospital visits with him.." I gasped when she said that. "Why?" Lucy asked, squeezing my hand a little. "He started drinking and you know how his kidneys can't take that. He missed five shows because he was in hospital.  He also had some breakdown on stage while singing songs like more than this and Little things. Even during interviews when people mention Lilly, he breaks down. But not only Liam's having a hard time, also Alice and even Louis. Liam has been avoiding me and Louis for a long time because of Little Lilly. Alice has been in a depression for three months, but she's getting better. Mostly because of her wedding coming up. And Louis just misses messing with you or with the boys, together with you. Next to that,  everyone tries to continue their normal lives, but they miss you like hell." Tears streamed down my cheeks hearing those things about my friends. "Eleanor, I´m scared." I mumbled, loud enough for her to hear. "Why babe?" She took my hand. "What happens when I run into them? I don´t think it will be the same as with you. Especially not with Liam and Alice." "Babe listen. It will be if you want to. The only thing standing between you and the others is You! You just got to listen to your heart. If your heart wants them, everything will be fine. I promise you!" Her grip around my hand tightened a bit as a comforting gesture, before she looked at the clock. "Oh my! It´s already that late. I´m so sorry but I got to go. My mum´s coming over. Here, this is my number and you better text me." She gave me a small paper before grabbing her bag and taking Lilly from Michael. "I´ll talk to you soon." She said hugging me. "It was really nice meeting you! Keep an eye out for her." She said to Mike and Lucy. "Say bye sweety." "Bye!!" Little Lilly waved her hand and we chorused a bye back. And with that, Eleanor left. "Let´s go. We already paid and I´m tired as hell from the trip here." Lucy said and we walked out. Later that night I thought about what El had said. Mostly one sentence was stuck in my head.
