carls pov

Im different now, people say, as in people i mean my dad. he says im dark, scary, oh but he doesn't know what really is happening.

I jog up to the back door into the house.

my dad lays asleep on the couch.

I'm tired of this!

"I killed three walkers they were at the door.  they were gonna get in but I leaded them away. I killed them. I saved you.... I saved you. I didn't forget about you being farmer. I still no how to survive lucky for us....I don't need you anymore, I don't need you to protect me anymore I can take care of myself. you can't protect me anyways, you couldn't protect Judith, you couldn't protect Hershel, or Glenn, or Maggie, Machone Daryl......or mom. you just wanted to plant vegetables. You just wanted to hide, he knew where we were and you didn't care! you just hid behind those fences and waited. there all gone now....because of you! They counted on you! you were there leader! I put my head down

I open my eyes to see its dark out. I must have fell asleep. until I felt something move from behind me. i look up at my sleeping father "dad?"

the body behind me begins to move. I jump up a little but still sitting down. until a hand reaches out. I take the chance and move back tears begin to fall from my eyes, as I squeaked and sniffled again and push my back up against the object behind me.

its hand begins to reach out for me as more sobs escape my mouth. Its hand reaches out for my gun but I drop it by my side, so his hand drops to my boot "just do it" I sob out

I wait for the bite "carl... don't go outside" I open my eyes to see my father rolled onto his back

I rush up to him and place his head in my lap "I'm scared"

I wake up with my dad gone.

I jump up "dad?" I here a sound from the dining room so I run in to see my dad limping around in the kitchen.

"dad" I breath out and hug him.

after we had a silent breakfast

"I found a bucket of pudding" my dad looks up "but I ate it all" I finish I expect him to be mad but all I here is laughing, I look up to see my dad smiling he reaches over and ruffles my hair.

"its ok" our little moment was cut off by a knock on the door.

we both look over until my dad stands up.                                                   

he looks out the peep hole then turns around once again laughing he slides down the door and continues to laugh "its for you"
