Stay Away & Forbidden Love

Chapter 5

I've always had a backup plan. Never once came out of a situation without one but right now I can honestly say I'm left speechless and plan-less. My grandmother, the Great Witch, always said "It is not the plan that makes life tough, It's life that makes the plan tough." and I never knew what she meant but now I do. Not only do I have to figure out how to get myself and my family including Ace out of this mess but I also have to find a way to beat this thing that has decided to come and home wreck my moment with my child but has possibly scared her for life. This beast had no idea who he was fucking with. 

I stood up and gave Felicity to Kaleb looking up at him with cold eyes. My invisibility shield remained on my family and Ace but I no longer shielded myself from danger. I was tired of running from danger. It was time for danger to run away from me. He looked down at me and knocked me twenty feet away making me land painfully on the ground. I forced my wings to re-attract into my back not daring to risk them. I stood up with a permanent scowl on my face now realizing that it had gone silent. Ace was no longer fighting demons. Nothing was fighting us but him.

It seemed like everyone was afraid of disrespecting him by interrupting his fight with me or either desperately trying to gain his attention. Almost as if he was their master, they were trying to please him. Even the angles. No one else mattered it was all him. The thought of that made me think that my thought about him being Satan was actually true. God, I'm going to meet my maker soon. No! I will not bow down to this piece of shit, I bow down to no one. My entire body lit up in gray flames. A mixture of heat and ice. 

He smirked at me and his tail started to grow with fire clasping off his horns. I might be the most power creature that's living but that does not mean I can conquer the world by beating what possibly might be Satan. 

 The flames intensified around me as I heard chanting at the back of my mind. Witch chanting, old witch chanting that sounded so much like my grandmother who was burned at the stake, It's making me feel crazy. Hell, I was already mad so I might as well be the next Malice. 

"With power does not consume you but with evil magnifies you."  I translated the demon language that the beast roared. 

At the end of the road lays a great evil, Skull And Bones is what some would call him but The Great Witch Line calls him Satan. You are destined to win this fight, no matter the outcome just know that you have The Great Witch Line on your side and also your mother and father. April you were never meant to be just a werewolf, you were always meant to be much more. My grandmother's voice popped in my head again in Croatian? I didn't understand any of it at all. Honestly I had never talked to my grandmother other than the day she was one her death bed. My parents always kept me from her because they said that she would corrupt me. My eyes started playing tricks on me as I clutched my whip lined up with ice crystals. I was one pissed off mother and right now I was seeing red. 

The hot blazing anger steamed through my veins at the site of what beheld me when I turned around.

Kaleb on the ground in a pool of blood with a witch holding my baby. I flicked my wrist and an protective shield went over Felicity and Kaleb. I ran to the witch who held her hand up and held me in the air. The entire battlefield went silent.
