Chapter 8

I walked over to Emily and watched with amazement as she pulled the knife out of the women's head.

"Emily?" I said in a surprised tone. "What did you do?"

"I made myself beautiful...like you, Jeff."

"I told you, Emily, you were already perfect the way you were."

I took four step back, but before I could make my way outside, Emily had her arms wrapped around my waist.

"Jeff, don't leave me." She said with a soft tone. "I thought if I did this, you would have loved me more."

I lifted Emily's head to look at what she did to herself. She cut a smile into her face, making her teeth appear sharper. Her eyes were wide with black eye liner so they would look as wide as mine.

"Jeff..." She said with tears streaming down her eyes and into her mouth. "Love me....please."

I couldn't explain the feeling I had in my chest. It felt heavy. I felt Emily move her arms from my waist and around my neck.

I watched as her tears started to dry up a little.

"Emily," I said in a low voice. "I'm never going to leave you."

I lifted Emily's chin up and kissed her hard. Her scarred lips were soft. I wrapped my arm around her small hips and pulled her closer to my chest.

I felt her grip on my sweatshirt as her body molded with mine.

I pulled away from her lips and looked into her soft eyes. Her eyes were still closed but she was smiling again.

"Jeff, I'm so cold. Can we go home?" She asked softly.

I helped Emily on my back and made my way to the door.

"J-Jeff, didn't you love m-me?!" Said a familiar voice.

I turned around to find a women with a white hoodie over her face.

Before I could even say a word, Emily jumped on my back and made her way over to hooded women.

"Listen, you must have the wrong Jeff, because he's mine, lady."

The women pulled off her hoodie. It was Jane. I couldn't even believe my eyes that Jane was alive. Out of all the memories I have, killing Jane was the most memorable. It's because I had feelings for her, but I couldn't let her know.

"Get you hands off my Jeff!" Jane growled in a harsh tone.
