"I'm full" Cas complained after we had silently decided what ice cream we wanted. I looked up from the desserts on the back of the menu in disbelief. How could someone be full after that tiny meal?

"What kind of ice cream were you going to get?" I ask trying to be subtle of my plan. Cas shuffles under my gaze and pulls his tan signature trench coat a  little tighter around his body.

"Umm. I was going to go for cookie dough but I'm to full to eat an entire milkshake." Cas tells me. I myself am a rocky road guy, but I could go for cookie dough. I grin at him. "Me too!" I inform him. He gives a light chuckle and I call Jo over.

Jo saunters over to our table with a big grin on her face. "One cookie dough milkshake!" I proclaimed. Jo raises her eyebrow and looks between the two of us. "with two straws" I add. Jo smirks knowingly and gives me a look that suggests she thinks there is something between us. I just glare at her in turn. "We are just friends!" I try to tell her through body language. Jo just chuckles and walks away.

I look over to Castiel who looks completely confused over our silent argument. "Why'd you get two straws?" he questions. I almost laugh aloud at his facial expression. For a smart guy he's pretty slow on the uptake.

"It's so we can both share the milkshake without having to buy two and have them both unfinished." Castiels face flashes with realization.

"Why have I never thought about that?" he asks, the question more directed to himself.

"Probably because I'm smarter than you." I tease. Castiel gives me the stink eye and retorts "I can assure you that's not the case."

"Weren't you just calling me a closet nerd not less than 10 minutes ago?" I smirk. Cas seems at a loss for words and I'm just smiling at him. "My SAT score is higher!" he snaps after a really long few seconds. Cas looks actually angry now.

"Cas I'm joking. I don't doubt that your smarter than me..." I pause "I'm just smarter where it counts." Castiel at first looks pleased with himself until he hears the second part. His eyes widen at the comment.

"In what ways? Please do tell." Castiel says smirking. Impressed that he replied, I struggle finding an answer. "In ways like, hand to hand combat!" I exclaimed.

"How does a skill make you smarter?" he laughed. My mouth opened and closed like a fish. "Not even smart enough to finish that sentence?"

I open my mouth to say some great comeback but Jo comes over with our order. "One cookie dough shake with two straws" she hints as she places the shake in between me and Cas. "Thanks Jo." I say a little harshly hinting that she can shut up now.

I take a sip from the milkshake and pass it to Cas. He looks tentative but takes a sip from the other straw. He closes his eyes as he sips and then moans at the obviously wonderful tasting shake. I chuckle a bit and say "Practicing for later Cas?" Castiel's face flushes at my flirting and I can't help but find it extremely amusing. I might have to flirt more often if it gets that reaction.

Cas drinks a little more of the shake and then I finish it. We talk a little about our classes after we finished. I then decide that it's time to head back to the dorm because it's a Thursday and we both have classes tomorrow.

"I'm going to go pay the bill." I tell him. Cas nods and stays seated as I get up and head to the cash register were Jo is standing reading something.

"Hey Jo." Jo looks up from what looks like a magazine and smiles at me. "Dean. How considerate of you to have your date in THIS diner." she says with a sly grin on her face.

"Shut it Jo. He's NOT my date. He's simply Castiel from our dorm." I respond. Jo doesn't seem to take the bite and says "Well you and Castiel are really cute together." This alarms me. Is this what other guys think? Is this what other girls think?

"He's not anything to me! I'm not even gay!" I said rather loudly. Jo looks surprised at my outburst, especially since she always teases me about liking guys. "I'm sorry." I sighed. "It's just I don't want people to get the wrong idea. Especially since he IS gay."

Jo forgives me but I can tell that she still doesn't quite believe that there's no chemistry between us, especially since she's always had a theory that I am gay. Plus, I was totally flirting with Cas, a part of me argued. But, then again that was only because Castiel flushed. It wasn't because I have feelings for him.
