Dean
Christmas break is upon us. I can finally see Sam after so damn long.
"Sam?" I ask into my phone."Dean! Good to talk to you again! Find your soulmate yet?" Sam asks. I look down at my arm; it's still blank.
"No, Sam. Actually haven't gotten any writing on my arm in a while." I say pondering for a moment. "Should I write something?"
"Dean when have you ever written something to her? Poor girl probably doesn't even know you're out there." Sam lectures. I consider it. Maybe when Christmas break begins I'll write a little message.
"Yah, okay. I'll think on it. But, hey? Winter break is next week. What are our plans?" I ask Sam. He always seems to know these things. I'm not sure if we're going to spend break at Bobby's or we're going to spend it at one of our dorms.
"Well at the beginning of break, I want to introduce you to Jess, the one I talk about all the time."
A smile splits my face upon hearing the news. "I'd be delighted to meet her Sammy!" I can almost hear him grinning from Stanford."Great. As for our plans for meeting up, I thought you should come here to Stanford. Jess' family lives here so she wants to stay. You can stay at my dorm. My roommate is leaving and there's even extra couch space if you want to bring anyone special." Sam tells me. I give a small chuckle.
"Like who?" I counter.
"Cas." Sam replies. "I know you were thinking about bringing him just now. I know you just that well."
I pounder it. I do have to admit, Cas did cross my mind. "Alright Sammy. If he's not busy for Christmas, I'll try and get him to come, okay?""Alright Dean. Talk to you later. Study for your mid-finals!" I snort at his last sentence and hang up. I walk back into our dorm and jump onto the bed. I turn my head to face a studying Cas. His nose is in the book and his bright blue eyes are scouring the page for information. Notes and books scatter his bed and his black hair is messier than ever. I can see s light scruff beginning to form.
"Hey Cas?" I ask trying to get his attention. Cas looks up with semi wild eyes.
"Yes Dean?" He answers. I fidget with my bed covers and my eyes wander the room, looking at everything but him.
"You doing anything for Christmas break?" I question, finally making eye contact with his crystal blue ones. His eyes glaze over, and it seems like he's not aware of the world around him, only what's going on in his brain. It's one of my favorite things about him, the way he gets lost in his mind. I wish I had the capacity to do that. "Umm, no I don't think so. I was just planning on spending Christmas here." He finally says.
I perk up and ask "So, you wanna spend Christmas with me and my brother? He said I could bring someone to his dorm to spend Christmas with, as long as they're okay with the couch." He looks at me curiously.
"So, you're asking me?"
"Well..." I rub the back of my neck nervously. "Gotta have someone to keep me company while my brothers off frolicking with his girlfriend."Cas smiles so wide, it's like he's won the lottery. "I would love to! I haven't spent Christmas with anybody in a long time. Thanks Dean."
That night we go to bed at similar times and Cas wants me to tell him all of the details and plans for Christmas. I laugh cause I really don't know anything, but he's so excited I make some things up. I haven't seen Castiel this happy ever, and it makes me giddy knowing that it was because of me.

Happy holidays everybody!!! I'm almost at 1k views so thank you! Of course, only like 22 of you continuously read every chapter but I am SO THANKFUL for your support. I'm really not that great of a writer but I can't believe I'm on chapter 13. They're short chapters, I know but it's going pretty well. I can't wait to get to the mushy gooey stuff. I love you all.
