Opinion: This book is what you would call a dark romance of a way. It does not 'sugar coat' anything. The author shows you that not everything is sunshine and rainbows. There is bad boogie men out there, and that you have to fight for yourself. It is a dog eat dog world out there. The narrator is from a different POV. Someone we so usually put in bad lighting as readers. We see her background story, past and we hear her thoughts. This makes you understand why she acts the way she does. This is such a great book, keeping me always on the edge of my seat. There is also smutty scenes often, for you little naughty lovelies😉 The title is what I personally love. 'Paper Trails.' Catchy. Rolls off the tongue just right. Be careful though it may trigger some viewers.
