Maybe they once cared too much.
Their hearts once warm and tender,
Now hard and cold to the touch.
Only if you knew what love could do,
Never knowing it could happen to you;
Love's a terrifying thing,
Even if you'd say it's true.
Before she had changed,
She once loved with all her heart;
Loved a boy ever so special,
They were happy, never apart.
It was then she grew suspicious,
His fate he could foretell;
A day of darkness came,
