I think of you every night,
I fall asleep to the thought of you.
I see your eyes every time I close mine,
Reminding me of a perfect view.
I think of us while you fall asleep,
The times you've wrapped me in your arms;
Your warmth wrapping me safely,
Keeping me from all harm.
But now I think of you with her,
Seeing the smile you gave me;
Your smile that I haven't seen in ages,
Ever since I've set you free.
Now I think of the pain,
The pain I felt from what I've seen;
And I can't do anything but think,
Think of what we should've been.
