I woke up with a start, frightened by my consistent nightmares. It was now dark out. Darn. I've missed supper. I slowly made my way out of bed and gave a great yawn. As I started to wake up, I noticed a distinct and strange noise coming from outside. Wolves. I didn't know there were any around here.

Not wanting to wake Aunt Fleecy up, I tiptoed my way to the kitchen, once again appreciating my warm and cozy surroundings. Opening the fridge, I first noticed a sticky note on a Tupperware container
"Feel free to take some leftovers. I will be out all day tomorrow, including tonight. Feel free to explore the town, I left some food money in the cookie jar over by the bread box. DO NOT GO INTO THE WOODS. There are dangerous things in there and I don't want you getting hurt.
-Aunt Fleecy"Dangerous things... does she mean the wolves? I did some research before I came here so I knew that there weren't any bears. Wolves would be the most dangerous species in the forest. Why wouldn't she just say there were wolves? Weird. It was almost 4am, and I was wide awake. Sighing, I settled down into my aunt's cozy couch and turned on Netflix. I'll explore tomorrow.
