"I'm finally here." I whisper, as I waits for my luggage to be received. The smell of the cold winter breeze here in Seoul is more relaxing than the humid tropical air in my hometown. "I wish I can stay here forever." I sighed. Not a while after I found my dark pastel purple-colored luggage bag and headed towards the exit.
I stand outside the entrance and looked for my reserved car to arrive til someone pounced on me from behind. "Ya!" I exclaimed. "What the-- Oh! Maddy-unnie!" I smiled. Madeleine pouts her lips. "That's not the proper way to greet your unnie.." My bestfriend, Madeline, who lived here in Korea for two years now, works as a manager for a music label, Starship Entertainment. She's 3 years older than me. "I'm pretty surprised that she's a manager at a very famous agency at such a young age.. She never told me how she did it, or what she can do in her job. Even though she's my bestfriend, she won't tell me anything. She'd always say "It's not the right time yet."
"Your ride has arrived, madam" Madeleine goofishly bows as she opens the back side of the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. I chuckled and entered the car, while Madeleine grabs my luggage and places it into the trunk then entering the driver's seat and in a short while we finally drive off.
"So, you're staying here for a month, right?" Madeleine asks while driving. "Yeah, just only December." I answered. "Wait, you're spending Christmas here in Seoul by yourself?" Madeleine asks in a surprised tone. "..No wait, you can spend it with me if you like~" She winked. "Aiish, unnie!" I giggled. Madeleine always sees me like a daughter and a little sister, that's why she nags me and she's always over-protective towards me. I still love her though ♥. I stare out the car window, gazing at the snowy buildings and trees that pass by, admiring the view.
"We're here!" Madeleine rushes out the car to open my car door and immediately goes to the trunk to get my luggage. I get out the car to stretch and stared at a big fancy apartment complex in front of me. "Woah," I breathed. "Unnie, you live here?" Madeleine places the luggage right next to me and stretched. "Yep, this is also the place where we have meetings and where most of my idols crash for the night too." My eyes open in surprise. "Really? Idols? Like who?" Madeline crosses her arms and gazes the 15-floored building from top to bottom. "Oh y'know, SISTAR, Cosmic Girls, BOYFRIEND... MONSTA X.." Her face turns sheepishly red after saying the last group, followed by a wide goofy smile. "You sure do like Monsta X, don't you, unnie?" I said while I teasingly grin at her. "Aigoo, Kate why don't you just bring your stuff inside~ Your apartment is on the 7th floor Room 27, I'll be right up, I just need to park the car in the basement." Madeleine frowns, but a second later she smiles like a foolish little kid, such an adorable sight.
I enter the elevator and clicked the button for the 7th floor. "Room 27." I sighed and walked out the elevator dragging along my luggage bag. My eyes run through each room scanning for Room #27, and it didn't take long til I finally found it. I placed my luggage next to the door and waited for Madeleine-unnie. 3 minutes pass and I hear loud footsteps running up the stairway. "HAH! Finally!" Madeleine pants as she placed her hands on her knees, with face dripping with sweat. "You should've used the elevator, unnie.." I said, while handing Madeleine-unnie a small face towel. "Using the elevator is boring, I run up all 7 floors using the stairway for exercise!" Madeleine-unnie grins. "Now, go input the keycode, it's 0806." I nodded and put in the code then opened the door slowly. My jaw dropped at how fancy the room is.

The interior was beautiful! Even though it was a small officetel-like apartment room, fancy lights light up the room and it had a beautiful balcony view of almost all of Gangnam. "Okay so, this is your kitchen, right behind it is the bathroom, and this is the dining area, the couch, upstairs is your bed and a couple of closets, blah blah blah, Kate just explore it you're 16 for god's sake." Madeleine laughs and heads for the door. "I'll just be next door if you need me! I'm in Room 28~ There's a list of numbers to call by the TV if you're hungry, need room service, or just need my love~ annyeong, Katie~" Madeleine sends silly flying kisses as she closes the door slowly.
This is it, Kate. You're finally in South Korea! I thought while excitingly unpacking my luggage. I bite my bottom lip and say, "I'll see you soon, my love." While holding up a photo of BTS, with red marker-drawn hearts around one of the member's face who's name is... Suga.
