Chapter 8

I and Ron walk hand in hand down the training centre's hallways. Earlier Ron told me he wanted to show me something; I wonder what is that 'something',

"So you must be wondering what is that something I wanted to show you right?" Ron starts,

Did I say that out loud or did Ron just read my mind?

"Hmm..., yes?" I say,

"Don't worry it's nothing bad, I promise, so chill", Ron laughs,

"I am chill" I say,

"Yeah I can see clearly how chill you are", Ron now laughs harder,

"Shut up and stop mocking me" I say, annoyed,

"Ouch, that hurts", Ron says dramatically,

"Not like what you tell me doesn't"

Ron stops and let's go of my hand,

"Did I really hurt you? I was just kidding" Ron says as he tucks a lose strand of hair behind my ears,

"It's okay you didn't," I say and look down prepare myself to play the prank well on him and run, "Let's see who can reach the end of this hallways faster!" I stick my tongue out at him and sprint,

"This is cheating!" Ron says and starts to run too,

Seconds later, I find two strong hands on my waist, stopping me from running,

"Hey leave me!" I whine playfully,

"Never anyone here told you that I am the fastest runner?" Ron says from behind me, his hot breath tickling my neck,

"Nope" I say trying not to sound breathless,

"And I won! Hahaha loser!" Ron sings and I hit him playfully on the arms,

"Oh shut up" I say trying not to laugh but failed,

"Come on let's keep going" Ron says,

After walking for another 10 minutes, we finally arrive at the beach,

"Ever seen a beach in you life?" Ron asks and gives me questioning look, he must have noticed how my jaw dropped when we first arrived,

"Yes, but I only saw it once when I was really young" I say,

Ron shrugs and we find two chairs and we sit on them facing each other,

"Do you know how to swim?" Ron asks me,

"No, I only went once to the beach remember?"

"Oh yeah, sorry, may I ask why did you go just once?"

"The beach in Lancee then was shut down because they found a lot of dangerous marine animals in it" I say,

"Oh, anyways don't worry, the beach here is totally safe, especially when you are with me" Ron winks,

"No, I am more worried that I am now with you, you know", I smirk,

Ron doesn't respond instead, he carries me bridal style towards the sea,

"Put me down! No I don't want to wet my clothes!" I whine and Ron sets me down,

"Then remov-"

"No thank you, I would rather keep them on" I say and blush, Ron takes out his hoodie and his shirt; I can't help but stare at his perfectly tanned six pack chest,

"I hope you are enjoying the view" Ron says and smirks, he must has noticed me staring at his chest,

"Shut up" I say and Ron picks me up again and runs towards the water,

I let out a childish scream, "Don't do anything dumb, remember that I can't swim" I say,

"I know ma lady, don't worry", the water was now waist deep for Ron so he sets me down in the water as well,

"It is so cold!" I complain,

"You will get used to it, come on ride on my back" Ron says,

"Wait what?"

"Just do it!", I ride on ron's back and he starts swimming like a dolphin, with me laughing and enjoying on his back, after some minutes of this he sets us down again in the water,

"How was it?" Ron asks,

"This was amazing!" I squeak,

"Come on let's try to get you swim, so first try to lay on you back, you can dive right?" Ron asks,

"Yes" I say, "I am scared" I confess,

With that, Ron carries me again bridal style but this time, he tries to loosen his grasp on me in the water. After an hour, I was quite confident with swimming around,

"Okay so, another game! I have to catch you, but we both only have to swim okay?"

"Okay", I smile,

Split seconds later after the game has started Ron catches me and we both dive under water; I see a blur version of him.

But then something unexpected happened; when our eyes meet under water, Ron sets a hand on my waist and leans in till our lips are centimetres apart but he doesn't stop there, instead with his other hand, he cups my cheek and fits his mouth to mine. A warm sensation filled through me, causing fireworks to spark inside of me. I smile and kiss him back, after a minute we both go up for air, and we move out of the water with smiles plastered on our faces.

"Here change your clothes into these" Ron says and handles me his hoodie and a pair of his sweat pants, "I prepared for this from the morning so I took extra clothes with me in my backpack",

I smile and head towards the women's changing rooms as Ron heads towards the men's changing rooms.

After we both finished changing and were heading back to the training centre, Ron suddenly stops and looks at me as he scratches his neck- a sign indicating he is nervous about whatever he is going to say,

"Erm, you are okay with me right? Because I kissed you, I was just too into the moment and I didn't think before doing it-"

I cut him off when I push him against the hallways wall, and crash my lips to his.
