Changes: Naruto (Rewrite)

Placements

Itachi sighed. He was now a normal jonin commander and in the Hokage's office.

"Please hokage-sama...may I make a request?" Itachi asked.

Minato nodded. "Make it quick, I'm still deciding team placements..."

"That's actually why I'm here. I request to be the jonin sensei of Naruto and Sasuke." Itachi replied.

Minato looked at Itachi astonished. "It was you...you helped them get that strong?"

Itachi nodded. "Yes. They're both prodigies unlike anything I've ever seen. Your son is actu-"

"I'll grant your request on one condition." Minato interrupted.

Itachi smiled. "Name it."

"I want your third pupil to be Karah." Minato said evenly.

"Wouldn't that make our team really overpowered?" Itachi asked curiously.

"It might. I'll admit, but you trained Naruto with less time but he's already stronger than Karah, and I've been training her for longer. I suspect you could do the same with Karah." Minato explained.

Itachi knew Naruto wouldn't be happy but it was the only way. "Thank you, Hokage-sama..."

As Itachi left, Jiraiya stepped out. "Why not kick off the Uchiha and jump Naomi up a year then have a team comprised of your kids? That way Karah and Naomi could stay close to one another."

Minato closes his eyes and sighed. "Honestly? If I take Sasuke off, then Itachi would refuse to train anyone, same for Naruto. I've got an idea though."

_____Next day at the Academy_____

"Team nine...Naruto Namikaze, Karah Namikaze, and Sasuke Uchiha. Your jonin sensei will be Itachi Uchiha." Iruka called out, getting a scoff from someone who'd been sleeping moments before.

Shikamaru looked up. "The three strongest students in class under the most powerful active jonin in the village? Two of those students are children of the hokage? Tell me that's not favortism."

Iruka sighed. "Shikamaru, I'm sure there's a reason that Minato-sama  did them this way...he may be trying to recreate the Sannin."

Naruto however felt a pulse in his chest and placed a hand over it. His heart was resonating with his new yellow chakra and changing his genetic makeup.

Sasuke placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder. "Relax, I know it sucks but you'll just have to deal with it."

Naruto nodded, obvious discomfort on his face. "It's not that. The new chakra feels like it's eating my old chakra."

Sasuke nodded. "My rinnegan keeps trying to activate randomly."

Unbeknownst to either of the, Jiraiya was in the classroom, using an invisibility jutsu. He narrowed his eyes and continued listening in on their conversation. Did that brat just say Rinnegan? And what does Naruto mean by new chakra???

Jiraiya went to make a silent escape out the window to tell his student, Minato, but when he looked back he almost dropped his invisibility jutsu in shock.

Naruto was looking right where he was standing, and squinting. He whispered to Sasuke. "Someone is right there. I can't see them, but I feel them."

Sasuke nodded and activated his sharingan, keeping his rinnegan eye shut. "I see a chakra outline. Hold on." Then he hurled a kunai.

Jiraiya caught the blade and cursed as he leaped out the window, hearing Iruka yell at Sasuke about why randomly throwing kunai isn't nice.

Naruto fell forward, unconcious, making Sasuke catch him. "Help!"
