Halting in her steps, Scarlett Quentin gasped as she took sight of the hideous pictures around her, pictures with her in it. She tried to ignore the snickering behind her, or the disgusted looks on people's faces as she passed by them, secretly wishing that she was able to turn invisible just then. Rushing to the lockers, she barely had time to witness the unpleasant, unclean feeling as someone dumped milk on her. She blinked, not comprehending if what she felt just happened. Scarlett ducked her head down, hoping to attract less attention, just when she bumped into a guy. Giving no warning, he threw a piece of rotten banana at her.
"Disgusting!" He yelled at her. Whimpering, Scarlett clutched her binders closer to her chest, and turned around, only to be bumped into a another guy.
"Repelling." He stated, the disgust evident on his face.
"Deformed." A towering guy smirked down at her.
As more insults flew at her, she felt the confusion turn into hurt, and she couldn't help but feel her eyes turn watery. She heaved a big sob, just as she felt herself being lifted slightly in the air."Stop!" She cried, finally speaking up. The jock holding her just grinned, a lethal smile showing teeth.
"And why should I listen to you?" He questioned, still holding her in the air. Swallowing her pride, she stated.
"Because you're hurting me!" She exclaimed, feeling nausea sweeping over her.
"But you're not human, aren't you?" He bared his teeth, than added one word she would never forget.
"Scarred."
