** PREVIOUS CHAPTER:
"Ok now you're just talking crazy because he doesn't like me and you know it."**

ALEX'S POV:

"I'm not and you know deep down that he likes you but you just don't want to see it."

"Whatever you say lil Jake we all know he doesn't but on another note shouldn't you be in school?" I said while trying to changing the subject without him noticing.

"Because I didn't feel too good?" He said more like a question than a statement.

"Mmhm I just hope you don't get in trouble kid."

Jake was about to say something but was cut of by Myles running down the stairs with a towel in his hand telling us he was ready.

He didn't take long he only took 5 minutes to get ready because he said that he didn't need no shower. So I gave Jake one last hug and headed to the door. Before closing it I heard Jake yell a "good bye love birds no baby making" in the process.

I close the door as fast as possible and run to the car. I get in the car with hopes of Myles not hearing what his little brother just said and turning on the radio full blast and with you by Chris brown was on. So I sang along to the music.

The car ride to IHOP was the same as always me and him singing to either throw back songs, or rap. Once we reached the parking we made our way in IHOP. We got a Seated in a booth.

"Your waiter will come by in a just a minute hope you enjoy." The lady that gave us our table told us and shortly our waiter came in. He looked young like in his 18 or 19s and he was good looking but my eyes are only for Myles.

Myles noticed me staring and rolled his eyes.

Aww he's jealous.

"Good morning my names Alex and I'll be your waiter for today what would you guys like to have." He said while showing his white pearl teeth.

" uhh yeah I'll like the red velvet pancakes with bacon and eggs." Myles says kinda annoyed

"Ok and what can I get for the pretty lady." I blushed a little because I've never been called pretty before. Myles has maybe once or twice called me that but other than that nobody.

"Oh uhh I'll have the same but instead of red velvet I'll have the original buttermilk pancakes."

"Alright and to drink ?"

"I'll have a cold-brew iced coffee."

"And I'll have orange juice thanks."

"My pleasure." After taking our order he picked up our menus and I being the nice person I am grabbed my menu to help him out but in the process of doing that me and Alex touched hands accidentally and I blushed a little.

I don't know why.

"Oh uh sorry about that." I said embarrassed.

"Oh no that's ok it was my fault." After he grabbed the menus he left to another table. I looked up to meet Myles eyes, only for him to look away from me and stare at the window. I was going to reach for his hand but stopped because our food came.

"Here you guys go, do you need anything else?"

"No thanks we're fine." I said politely because if I let Myles talk he'll probably come out rude.

"Ok hope you guys enjoy."

"Yes thank you." After he left we ate our food sure he seemed a little mad but when he ate, it was like he was never even mad.

"Hey you ok." I said while reaching for his hand this time and holding it.

He had tensed up a little but relaxed once we made eye contact.

"Yeah I'm fine I'm just sorta tired that's all but let's eat yeah." He gave me a reassuring smile before letting my hand go and eating.

*skip to the beach*

After we had finished up eating we went to go pay for our food. I insisted on paying for it but Myles refused and payed. We left IHOP and made our way to the car so we could go to the beach.

It was a really nice day out and I know for a fact that the beach is really packed, but it doesn't matter I always have a fun time with my best friend. The car ride from IHOP to the beach wasn't long. Once we got to the parking lot it was packed but we found parking.

"Hey can I put my stuff in your bag?"

"Uhh yikes didn't you bring your own ." I said while cracking a smile.

"Oh shut up and pass the bag."I tossed my bag to him and he catches it. The only thing I had in there was my towel and camera so I had extra space for his towel.

We got our stuff and headed towards the beach.

I gotta love the bay.

and Myles.

After 5 minutes of searching we found a spot near the washrooms. I love going to the beach because there is always so many new interesting things to take pictures of, and yeah I may have a pool but I prefer the beach in my opinion. I was really enjoying today.
