Best friends (discontinued ATM)

Alex's POV:

"Hey let's go for a swim."

"Yeah but help me get up tho." I was laying because I got lazy so Myles picked me up bridal style and  I wasn't scared of Myles dropping me in the ocean because he wouldn't and I was right. He walked all the way in to the ocean with me in his arms.

Aww this feels great

He would occasionally look me in the eyes then down where he was stepping so he won't crash into a kid or something. When we were fully in the water he let me stand on my feet but he was still holding on to me. God I felt like thousands of butterflies were in my stomach just because he was staring down at me.

At one point I felt as if he was getting closer and leaning in and so was I. We were like centimeters away from each other's lips I could feel his hot breathe on my lips. I couldn't process what was going on and just when I realized me and Myles were going to actually kiss. I froze in my spot but Myles was still leaning. That was until we heard Jake running towards us.

"Hey guys I was just stopping by to say I came with ... ohh never mind I see you guys are busy."

*Coughs* "uhh what are you talking about. We were just uhh in the water that's all."

"Uhh Yeah ok well I'll be over there with dom if you need me but I see you don't soo bye."

" uhh Myles I think we should get out of the water."

"Uh Yeah I think... yeah let's go."

I am so gonna kill Jake

After that little awkward moment I just wanted to leave and go home. Once we got out of the water I went to go get a towel so I can dry off. I felt someone's eyes on me but I just shook the feeling away.

I went to go check my phone and had 20 text messages from Andrea and Luke. I checked te messages and most of them were about me missing school and if i was ok and Luke wanting to tell me something oh whale I'll tell them to come over later. I felt someone's breath on my shoulder and look to my left and see Myles standing there.

"Hey."

"Hey.... uhh can I borrow your towel... uhh Jake took mine so I don't have one."

"Oh yeah it's fine"

"Here" I unwrapped myself from my towel and handed it to him. Our hands touched in the process and I swear I'm always getting butterflies when he touches me even the slightest things from him get me all flustered. It was cold but I much rather give him my towel.

"Wait aren't you cold though."

"Yeah but it's fine I'm good."

"No here I don't want you to be cold." He gave it back to me but I refused

"No here take it you need it more than I d..

"no here take it because i don't need it as much. I can air dry."

I refused and put it on him. He then grabbed my arm and wrapped his arms around me.

"Well now we're both using it because I don't want you to be cold." He smiled down at me and his face was getting closer by the minute. I was leaning in too but Jake came back with his towel and threw it to Myles.

"Here you go we didn't even need it..ohh well I see you didn't need it either." He started laughing.

"You know I'm going to kill you right."

"Yeah I know." And with that Jake started running away from us. I just looked up at Myles and started laughing. He still had me in his arms and I just wish we can stay like this forever because I feel so safe in his arms.
