I turn away from the window and reluctantly walk towards the TV.
"You should be standing right in front of it now." Says Ivy.
I stop. I take my injured hand and place it out in front of me, just out of reach from the glass. The rain has stopped. Other than the sound of my heart pounding in my chest and the uneven breath, there is silence. I push my hand forward. A green light blinds me.
"Yes!" Says Ivy, excited. "You found it! This will lead us to the next path!" She skips past me, as though she doesn't have a care in the world. I have multiple.
"It's fine! Trust me!"
"You read my mind again?"
"Sorry, it's just so tempting!" She continues to walk, and the glass seems to lead to another room.
"What about the dollhouse?" I call, a little to loud. I immediately turn to make sure I haven't woken the witch, and just barely got away.n
"Don't worry! There's one down here to!" Her voice trails of as she travels further down the path.
I follow.
