It's February 15. I woke up at home. My sister said she found me lying in the couch the day I fainted. Nobody was home. I was still trying to find out who brought me home and said those "mysterious" words I heard before I fainted.

I tried to ask my classmates in school but they didn't know. Jake was absent, so I wasn't able to ask him. Oh well, I'll just pretend that didn't happen at all.

I tried my best to avoid Tisha and Carl today. My mom told me to invite both of them to my birthday party tomorrow. I didn't want to invite them but Tisha was still my bestfriend and Jake was my first love. So I decided to approach the two love birds and give them invitations to my party. I walked to their table and did what I was supposed to do and boy, I did it quickly. 

After classes, I went straight home and found everyone busy for my party tomorrow. I took out my phone and texted Jake.

*To: Jake

Hey Jake! You're invited to my party at my house. I'm expecting you..with your gift. Heheh XD

I sent it to him and went straight to bed. Tomorrow was a Saturday so we didn't have any classes.

Tomorrow is going to be the best day ever.

Today's February 16 which means it's Bea's birthday. I decided to not go to school yesterday because I was afraid that she knew about what I said last Valentine's Day. I thought that she was never going to talk to me until I received a text from her.

*From: Bea <3

Hey Jake! You're invited to my party at my house. I'm expecting you..with your gift. Heheh XD

I felt relieved. I woke up early in the morning to pick out what to wear. Her party was going to start at 6:00 p.m. but I couldn't wait. I opened my closet and tried on everything. Yes, my friend, I mean everything but I didn't find anything that looked good on me. I searched everywhere around our house for clothes that will make Bea's jaw drop like how it dropped when she saw the price of the shoes. It was already 12:00 noon but I still couldn't find anything. So I decided to shop for some new clothes.I really hate shopping but if it means making Bea's jaw drop...it's worth it. 

I ate my lunch and headed to one of Bea's favorite stores. You guessed it right. 

FOREVER 21

I checked out the men's section and found a red polo that I thought would suit me pretty well. I tried it on and it made my jaw drop. Not because of how I looked handsome wearing it but because of the price. Like, who would sell a plain red polo that costs 25,000 Php.

I just bought it since that was the only shirt I found that suits me. Oh wait, I totally forgot! I spent 25,000 Php on a shirt but I didn't even buy pants yet! I decided to go to a store that had a sale.

I looked at the pants that they were selling and tried at least 4-5 pairs but none of them suit the red polo well. I approached the saleslady and asked her if they had anything that suits my red polo. She went inside the storage room and came back with black pair of pants. I tried it on  and I was satisfied.

I immediately paid for it and went home. I didn't have to buy new shoes. I just bought a new one last week so I was going to use that. Then, I wore the new polo and pants that I bought and my shoes. I used my precious perfume which I only used during super duper special occasions. 

It took me 2 hours to style my beautiful brown hair. I checked the time.

6:30 p.m.

Oh crud! I'm late! I was too busy grooming myself that I forgot about the time. I walked slowly to their house since I didn't want my perfume to be overpowered by my stinky sweat.

When I was almost one more block away from Bea's house, I realized that I left my gift. I slapped myself and immediately ran back home to get her gift. I sprayed the perfume almost everywhere in my body.

Then , I went back to slow-walking. When I arrived at Bea's house....

No one was there...only Bea.

I went to her and said "So where's everybody?Am I too early?". I asked jokingly.

She hit me in the elbow and said "NO! You're late!"

"Sorry.Sorry. I'll make it up to you." I said.

"How?". She asked, confused.

"Uhmm. I'll dance for you and I'll hug you and ki-"

"Dance . Okay . But . Hug . No." She said.

"Okay. I'll dance for you."

"Hehehe. Oh wait. I forgot to give you my gift."

I gave her the box where I placed the shoes and I was anticipating her reaction.When she opened it, her jaw dropped .... again. Then, I noticed she started to tear up. She looked at me and then mouthed the words "Thank you"

Kyaaa! Cuteness overload!

I thought hard about what to do next.Then...

I went up to her and hugged her. Then, I whispered to her " I like you."

I didn't know what her reaction was or how she felt about what I said but I didn't care. A weight was lifted off my shoulders because I could finally breathe normally since I already told her how I felt.

I didn't know if the feeling was mutual , but for me, it was the best day ever.
