It was the beginning of the Second Quarter in Spirit Hollow School for the Creative, or SHSC for short. All was well for the school until one fateful day in the 1st period Sophmore chemistry class. Our story lays eyes on Everett Sarin, George Wyvren, Lyle Versailles, and Quinn Furore. The bell rang throughout the school.
"Class Class! Please stand around the wall, for you will receive new seating." The teacher said. The teacher, Mr. Carith, was a very optimistic teacher. He was quite tall, and somehow coordinated his tie with his shirt. But his socks never matched.
"I hope no one gets to sit next to Corinne. God how I despise her." Lyle said. Indeed Lyle may have despised Corinne. Lyle was fairly tall, with eyes as black as the night sky. People thought he was adopted with his mixed skin, his father was French and his mother from Spain. His jet black hair made him look like he was hiding something.
"Agreed." Quinn said. Fun fact: Quinn is actually Corinne's cousin. Quinn, like Corinne, was very short, with freckles all over his face and shoulders, however he has brighter hair.
"I will sort you into pairs. Your partner will be your partner for a project that would be due the day before spring break." Mr. Carith instructed, in a sort of straight-forward manner. The four boys trembled. Now they were all scared of sitting next to the "menacing" Corinne. Corinne, looking like a female Quinn, but with redder hair, glanced at their petrified faces. Giving of a little smile, she has them cornered.
"Let's begin. George and Everett, up front, by my desk." Carith pointed to the table in which Everett and his friend eagerly skipped to, like bunnies on a breezy spring.
"Quinn and Harris, behind them." Carith, again, made a terrible decision of Quinn and Harris sitting next to each other. The duo would get in all kinds of trouble such as not getting work completed, and even toilet papering the trigonometry teacher's classroom in 2nd year.
"Uliese and Elliasi... Callin and Miracle... Brooks and Burke... Fuchsia and Levine.." Mr. Carith left four kids. Larson, a total airhead and Corinne's ex, Mariya, a new girl, Corinne, and Lyle. Everett, Quinn and George stared in fear as if Mr. Carith held Lyle off of a cliff. The most awkward of silences filled the room, as if it was poison gas.
"Lyle and Mariya in the back corner, and Larson and Corinne in front of them." Mr. Carith spoke. The sigh of relief from the boys up front brought a good end to this act. Right when Lyle was about to sit down,
"Wait. I read this wrong! My bad! Mariya, you sit with Larson, and Corinne move back a seat." Mr. Carith corrected himself. That sigh of relief turned into a gasp of panic for Lyle, as Corinne trudged to the back table.
"Hello, partner." Corinne put her hand out, offering a handshake.
"H-Hello, uh... p-partner." Lyle replied, shaking her hand. He started wiggling his fingers.
"That's enough." Corinne cringed. She sat down, and class began.
