My Harry Potter Opinions.

My Harry Potter Ships. Why?

Before you read this, I will be saying my opinion on certain ships but please don't take this as me dissing the people who ship them, e.g if it were Shadowhunters, for say, I wouldn't diss people who ship Jace and Alec although I don't, though I would say I do not like the ship and diss the ship instead of the shippers. I actually have friends who ship things I hate and I'm cool with that. Just as long as you're a nice person, I don't mind what your ships are.

Okay, that said, let's start! :)

So, first of all, I have quite a few Harry Potter ships but my main one is Draco and Harry. I really ship these two and that isn't only because I'm all about gay ships, but it's also because they fit together like two perfect puzzle pieces and it's almost as if they were made for one another.

Look at it this way, if you will. Draco, in the first lot of books, shows his hatred for Harry clearly by bullying him but by Half-Blood Prince, we see that actually, in reality, he is jealous of the boy and looks up to him. In reality, Draco wishes he could be as brave and as 'lucky' as Harry. I mean, although he was at the top of Voldemort's kill list, Harry was still having a wonderful, happy life and Draco, obviously, was jealous of this because he was forced into a life he didn't choose and he was depressed and anxious.

At the same time, in Deathly Hallows we see that although Harry may be bitter at Draco for the way he has treated him in the past, he doesn't hate him. Really, he feels sorry for him and can see that he is afraid but doesn't let Draco see that he can see that. And, when Draco is about to die in flames, Harry saves him. Harry saves him because he is not willing to let him die. Although Draco has caused hell for Harry, Harry wasn't going to just let him die like that. He wasn't going to lose him and he wouldn't accept himself if he didn't save him.

However, Ron and Hermione were less into this idea and only did it because of Harry. I'm not saying this shows that Harry is in love with him, nor Draco. That's not the case. What I'm saying is this shows a perfect reason for them being soulmates. I mean, seriously. Did you not see the way Draco looked at Harry in this scene in the movie!? I cried.

I just ship them so, so much.

But at the same time, in the books more than the films, I ship Harry and Ginny. I really do think J.K.Rowling made a good choice partnering them and they look very, very cute together. So, in a dream land I'd want Drarry but in reality Harry and Ginny is a better choice. Also, what is Harry and Ginny's ship name? I've never worked that out!

Okay, next.. who do I ship Hermione with? Most certainly not Draco, that's for sure. I really hate the ship Dramione and see no reason as to why I should ship it. Hermione obviously hates Draco and Draco hates her too, not only because she's Harry's friend but also because she's a 'mudblood'. Like, unlike Draco and Harry, they are in no way compatible and they really just don't work. But that's my opinion.

In fact, I ship Hermione with Ron and only Ron. I know Rowling wishes she'd put Hermione and Harry together but I really do not like that ship. I like the idea that Harry and Hermione are those male and female best friends that so many people seem to believe can't happen because they'll 'fall in love'. Like, no. I'm bisexual and have many friends who are girls. Do I have crushes on all my friends? No.

Exactly.

Honestly, Hermione and Ron are literally made for each other and make the most adorable little couple and I love every single one of their moments in both the books and the films so much. And in Half-Blood Prince, when Hermione is confused about her feelings towards Ron and soon very jealous, I just wanted to be there for her like Harry was. Oh gosh, I just ship Romione so much. Is that even the ship name? I mean, honestly, I just kinda guessed.. :')

Unlike many people, I do not ship Neville and Luna. I love the idea of Neville finally having the guts to tells Luna he likes her a lot, but I really just don't ship them. Honestly, I feel like Luna should be lesbian and should have a beautiful girlfriend just as strange and wonderful as she is! However, there is no one in the books/films who I ship her with. No one we have met, anyways.

I do not ship Neville with anyone, either. I've never really thought about that, to be honest.

When it comes to Snape, I feel bad for the fact Lily never loved him the way he loved her, but I do not ship him and Lily. Of course, I ship Lily and James.

I am still so sad over the death of James and Lily, but due to it, I guess, the golden trio was created and the world was just as beautiful - I wish they could've just been there to see their son being brave and fighting for them.

Anyways, that's off the point. I just really love James and Lily's relationship and they did not deserve to die so young... I am still so sad. Wow.

Other than these, I really have no other major ships. Like, I ship Harry with both Ginny and Draco, Hermione with Ron, James with Lily and think Luna should be lesbian, but that's just about it. I don't really ship anyone with anyone else but that is only because I haven't thought much deeper about it.

Drarry will always be the best Harry Potter ship out of these, however. Those boys were made for one another. J.K.Rowling, take notes.
